In this thread, the DUmmies start talking about some guy named Chunk or Sink or something like that, who is on PMSNBC. I have no idea what he said, since I've never seen him, but it doesn't really matter because no one else watches him either. Anyway, poor, stupid Beth shows up, like she does on all dictator threads, and starts swinging at everyone in sight:

Cenk is an idiot! He wants Obama to take sides. WTF?
This is not the time to take sides.
Obama did the right thing.
He promoted freedom and peace and human rights.
Cenk is horrible!
He acts like a spoiled rich kid that has never had to work a day in his life.
MSNBC needs to find someone better.

2. Really? How could our government choose between a repressive dictatorship and a people's revolt?
WTF is the matter with Cenk?
No idea. Who is this Chunk? From The Goonies?

17. Should we send the troops?
Seriously. And why didn't we before?
Where has everyone been since 1981? Demand Reagan do the same? Bush, Clinton, Bush?
Who was on DU calling for us to save Tunisia or had indeed even heard of it until this week???????????

49. You may not have noticed this but democracy is never the result of our intervention anywhere.
Poor, stupid Beth forgets our intervention in WWII. She also forgets Ronaldus Magnus freeing hundreds of millions behind the Iron Curtain.
But those are small details. Real freedom comes from Castro and Yugo.

18. Remember when it was Iran?
Obama got credit for staying out of it.
I realize the situations are different, but it's interesting to see the different views on what the appropriate response is.
I have no idea what DUmmy DrToast is talking about.

48. In the case of Iran, we weren't funding, arming or supporting their government.
So our government's position was substantially different. Of course, we screwed Iran out of their democracy, so even so, what our government says about their is largely better un-amplified.

41. will you be signing up for the military then?
you do want to free the people of Egypt, and apparently diplomacy isn't cutting it for you.
so when do you want this new war to start?

60. Apparently, no one can be free unless I am personally willing to go shoot the cr@p out of them.
As I recall, poor, stupid Beth applied that standard to the Bush twins not long ago.

14. Cenk comes across as a radical without a clue to foreign policy.
He was put in his place by the guests, 3 of them, who said the President was right. This is why radicals have no place on the public media...they skewer the reality. Does Cenk really think calling the President "Obama" gets him anywhere. It is a total lack of respect and MSNBC needs to send him home.
OMFG! WTF! ROFLMAO! LOL!
(After all, the star of this thread is poor, stupid Beth - lol.)

56. Cenk is one of the best new analysts on the air.
Maybe that's the problem.
Well, poor, stupid Beth has her opinion, but I much prefer Jon Gruden.

51. Why do you think there is no one our government can speak to?
That's simply untrue and largely an effect of the (non) coverage in the American media.
Elbaradei is there with a good deal of support and there is a legislature and there are military leaders the Obama government could speak to in good faith.
The president is by no means "stuck" with supporting this brutal bastard. Hello?
This brutal bastard? LOL! You know, poor, stupid Beth, and most democrats for that matter, hate dictators who are allies of the United States, like the Shah and Mubarak, and love any dictator who is an enemy, like Yugo and Castro and Dinnerjacket. It almost seems like there's a pattern there.

Beth, you ignorant slut! You really think the people will get democracy in Egypt???? Last I knew, it is populated by Muslims. The Muslim Brotherhood ring a bell, stooooopid?
Whether you want to admit it or not, the closest thing to democracy in the middle east, aside from Isreal, is Iraq! Wonder how that happened?

Would someone fill me in as to when this happened?

DUmmies and especially Beth has a limited mind capacity and short memory span. They "forget" things when it's convienent for them.
I feel bad for Israel in this spot. Things could turn ugly.

I'd say that the nukes in the Negev are being transported to airbases as we type.

Ain't that the truth brother.

This has been one of my pet peeves about the DUmp since I first discovered it. They use that argument for anyone who supports the military. It's always "When are you going to enlist?"

Yet not a single one volunteered to head over and become a "human shield" in order to protest the big bad Military Industrial Complex!!

I mean, aside from Japan, Germany, a large number of former colonial states, and some other miscellaneous places she can't seem to remember right now...

One of the PhD.s in the lab I worked in at the time of Iraqi Freedom's kickoff used to ask me this. I'd reply, "I did my time--they'd never take me again. By the way, when are you going to the Iraqi Mission at the UN and volunteer to be a human shield in Iraq?" He never gave me an answer.
