Ever wonder how much it costs to deport an illegal immigrant?
Now we know: $12,500.
That estimate -- the cost for arresting, detaining and deporting someone from the U.S. -- comes from Immigration and Customs Enforcement deputy director Kumar Kibble. Kibble offered up the cost Wednesday during the the first hearing of an immigration subcommittee under Republican leadership.
The hearing on Wednesday was titled "ICE Worksite Enforcement - Up to the Job?"
Kibble said the U.S. spent $5 billion last year to deport a record 393,000 immigrants.
Immigrant advocates today are strategically calling the $12,500 cost a "deportation tax."
Make them take the Greyhound bus home.

How about we deduct that tax from foreign aid to Mexico? Better yet, confiscate all money being sent back to relatives in Mexico until the full amount is covered.
-
So privatize the whole process and save a ton of money. I'm sure the private sector could deport a wetback and charge the Fed about $350.00 and still make a tidy profit in the process.

And there are plenty of Americans who would do that job :)

I am not reading the item until I get this out and on the record:
I'll do it for 10% of that, and use my own van into the bargain.
Now, let's see what I just violunteered for:
-
Further proof that the government can't do a damn thing on the cheap....or right for that matter.
-
Oh, yeah. Totally. Pick five guys up at Home Depot, ask for their IDs, and on finding them lacking, straight to the border we go. "Vaya sur, amigos." Now pay me $6,250.

Make them take the Greyhound bus home.
Stuff em in a 40 foot container and truck em back by the ten dozen. They don't seem to have any issues arriving like that so why would they have an issue of leaving like that.

'Tis only fitting :)

Fitting like a sardine can. Give them a choice of being shipped back that way, or a lead bullet. At least I WOULD give them a choice. There's plenty of their own countrymen who promise to bring them over, then rob, rape and kill them. Much as some Africans sold their own countrymen into slavery, those they didn't keep as slaves themselves.
So much more convenient and tidy to blame whitey for everything wrong though. :bird:

I think Mexico should pick up the tab

I think Mexico should pick up the tab
Hell, we can't even get our own ****ing federal government to pick up the tab when AZ and the other border states (I'm assuming here with them) detains and deports the illegals who swarm over our border.

****ing Zer0 allowed that dipshit Mexican president to call MY state a bunch of racists for daring to enforce our own laws; why would the bastard even think of billing the Mexican government. As far as I can tell, the plan in the Democrat Party is to totally overrun Republican voters by offering incentives to come across, break our laws and swamp our social programs, all in the expectation that they will be rewarded at the ballot box.
-
They're not all from Mexico but most of them came thru Mexico and Mexico won't let us dump them there. So I tell you what we do. Instead of flying them back to their home country....we borrow the "Human Cannon" from the circus and just shoot their ass back across the Mexican border....they can walk home from there.

I was goin' to say, let us have 'em! I could, and would do it for gas money and an occasional lunch! ****in' Feds! Why the hell does everything have to cost 10 to 20 times what it would cost in the private sector? If I managed my Ranch that way, I'd be homeless!

It's all about labeling.....remember the
$400 inertia driving machine = a cotton pick'n $5 claw hammer.
Sell your farm animals as "All encompassing life support systems."

They tried to fix that too. Remember the USDA's NAIS Plan?

And our "leaders", (I use that word, VERY loosely), wonder why we're in such a stressful economy? :hammer: :hammer:
-
I wonder if that $12,500 includes any government paid lawyer fees for fighting deportation?
Nawh, they wouldn't want you to know that.
