Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) will criticize President Obama for overspending and credit the conservative Tea Party movement for changing the tide in Washington during her Tuesday night response to the State of the Union.
Even though some Republicans voiced concern that her message could conflict with the official GOP response, excerpts released by the congresswoman's office contain no direct mention of House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) official GOP response and no mention of a benchmark for spending cuts.
Bachmann will note that Tea Party activists loudly protested against the federal stimulus package but Obama decided not to listen, costing him dearly in the November midterm elections.
CNN only channel broadcasting her response.

Anybody on our side of the aisle (excluding our so-called "leadership") who stands up to the Marxist in Chief has my attention.

Remember 0dumbos response (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-pn-obama-flashback-20110126,0,2358247.story) to Bush's State of the Union address?

Isn't Paul Ryan giving the official response from the right?
-
Ryan is a very good guy -- he is the designated spokesperson. But to some degree he'll be forced to spout the RINO Pubbie line.
I'll go with Michelle here -- she'll be more forthright.

Yes he is. She is giving one after him. Only on CNN.

Then her response will not be "official." The media will take the RINO-esque statements made by Ryan and embellish them as the MAIN points; in extension that the ENTIRE republican party thinks like that. They will then categorize Bachmann's statements as being "extreme" and "out of touch" with the "vast majority of republicans" based upon Ryan's statements.
Thank god that Ryan is a good economist, and will break down those points.
-
Yes, thank god the media and the republican leadership know better than the tea party (extremists) and their ilk. /s

I like both Ryan and Bachmann. :cheersmate:

Ryan is excellent on economics. But I dont see why we cant have a host of replies from our side on Stinkies "speech". Let 'em rip.

There are plenty of responses, problem is, the MSM will sweep them under the rug. I'm a little puzzled why FOX isn't televisin' Bachman's response.

Fox is not much diff than the other networks when it comes to news reporting. They read the AP wire like everybody else.
Its the round tables and the "shows" that are different from the other networks.
"Fair and Balanced" is just another advertising stunt. Except for the panels and the shows where opinion is actually offered.
Lot of propaganda goin on out there by the left.

For the most part, I agree, but Megyn Kelly lets her conservatism show through, and she is a news anchor.

She is the best. When she sits with or talks with guests though it is not reporting so much as interviewing where her conservatism has a chance to shine through.
