New Study: Tea Partiers Three Times More Likely to Say Violence Is Warranted. Exhibit A: Glenn Beck
http://www.alternet.org/rights/149572/new_study%3A_tea_...
When a survivor of the Tucson shooting told a Tea Party leader, "You're dead," he was arrested and committed. Why is Glenn Beck any different?
I have documented numerous examples of right-wing advocacy of violence, as have many others. But nobody crosses further over the line, or more often, than Glenn Beck. And here is the ultimate display of deliberate hostile intent. It is an overt call for violence and an instruction to viewers:
“Tea parties believe in small government. We believe in returning to the principles of our Founding Fathers. We respect them. We revere them. Shoot me in the head before I stop talking about the Founders. Shoot me in the head if you try to change our government.
I will stand against you and so will millions of others. We believe in something. You in the media and most in Washington don’t. The radicals that you and Washington have co-opted and brought in wearing sheep’s clothing — change the pose. You will get the ends.
You’ve been using them? They believe in communism. They believe and have called for a revolution. You’re going to have to shoot them in the head. But warning, they may shoot you.
They are dangerous because they believe. Karl Marx is their George Washington. You will never change their mind.†~ Fox News, June 10, 2010

You stupid moron, I listen to Beck damn near every day and not once has he condoned violence.
In fact he has repeatedly said any one who wants violence is wrong.
You morons think you are so smart yet, you can't even get it right when you talk about Beck.

1. "You in the media"
Beck is an idiot. He IS in the media.
Beck is 1000 times smarter than the smartest member at DU.

It came from Alternet... it must be genuine.

Millions? I think you have a math problem there stooooopid! Your momma dropped you on yer head right after the failed abortion, didn't she? What was her doc's name, Gosnell?
Ya know Beck is sounded more like my Rev than any kind of activist lately, doncha? Of course ya don't! You don't watch him in fear ya might just hear some truth! Everything he speaks of, he supplies the links, books, and articles to back him up, and tells you not ever to take his word for it!
The violent ones are guys like me! 'Cause if you ever try to say that shit to my face, I'll wad you up and feed ya to the pigs! **** tryin' to get along with these pukes!

And me with only tens of thousands of rounds.

Make 'em count, when the time comes.

I'm a piker compared to you, then. I better get buyin' . . .

The poll:
http://www.dailykos.com/weeklypolling/2011/1/14
170 identified as Tea Party, 710 as Non Tea Party...so if 13% of 170 say violence against the government is ok while 4% of Non Tea Party agree, we're actually looking at more non-tea party people that approve...and so do 17% of 18 - 29 year olds of which there were 160 in the poll, wouldn't that make them even more dangerous?
It was a DailyKOs poll, odds are not one single Tea Party member is included. :rotf: :rotf:

My stash is getting old. I need to refresh it because most of it is 40 years old. The son has gotten into it and it's still shooting just fine but needs refreshing.
I was at WAL-MART Saturday looking at their prices....BOY has ammo gone up in 40 years. Even 22 cal. LR HP or $6.47 per 100 rounds. I still got thousands of that that cost $.65 per 50 rounds 40 years ago....that's a $1.30 per 100. 00 buckshot 25 to the box has gotten high, need a few new boxes of that. But they didn't even have the good high powered stuff I was looking for. A friend of mine can hook me up with some new of that "odd" stuff.

Well, Donna, you lying, sniveling vixen, the reason is fairly simple: You define anything your side says as justified and righteous outrage, and anything our side says that does not involve doing the bobble-head nod to your latest stupid, expensive, wasteful, and self-dealing gravy train scheme as a call to bloodletting. Your 'Three times more likely' really doesn't mean anything because you apply a shifting frame of reference to both the words and the composition of the two sides.

Ya know what the reason is that this isn't all over the LSM? Because even they know that it's bullshit. :pokingpoop: :pokingpoop: :pokingpoop:
