Just landed in Victoria, TX waiting for a cab to take me to Port Lavaca. Fox News is on the television. I asked the attendant here if I could change the channel and watch the Packers vs. Bears. Her response. "This is the only channel we get on this TV". Since I am the only one in the terminal at this time, I tried to just turn it off or at least turn the volume down. Can't do either one!! Please, taxi, get here quick!! I feel my brain cells dying minute by minute listening to this garbage!!! Help me!!

I was speakin' more of their over night service. I've used them and they have always come thru. Course ya gotta pay for what ya get, but in this case it would be worth every penny!

I think you misunderstood my post. I never said he should have a computer of phone to keep him busy, I said since he posted that message from the airport he must have a phone or laptop to be kept busy with.

And it smells! Seriously though, It's friggin winter in South Texas. If the TV inside bothers you, go sit outside. I dunno about any of the rest of y'all, but anytime I am in a waiting room and a TV is on, I can't hear it. What is up with this TV blasting out sound stuff anyway?

It's at times like this that I proudly boast that our household evicted the Tee-Vees from the premises shortly after ObeyWon's Immaculation. We've had an ObeyWon free zone for almost 2 years now. I'll probably review his hour and a half bullshit session - and then drink heavily, throw up and move on - over the innerwebz after the fact.

That man is my hero! He speaks about libs and the Constitution just like I do! "Toots" can vouch for that. However, "Toots" can't stand his voice, says it's like finger nails on a chalkboard, so I usually have to listen to him on rewind.

I've managed to be a caller a dozen times or so when he talks about farmin' and ranchin', gubmint susaidies and regulations pertainin' to same, when "Toots" takes to galavantin' around with my kids and grandkids.

Last time is when they punched thru the "Cupcakes" in school fund raiser bill.

Most Americans don't know it effects small farm guys who sell to our neighbors or local markets!

Pretty much makes me illegal if I don't get some ****in' gubmint bureaucrat to inspect my stock! Never mind all the butcher shops already get inspected! Now they want to see how we raise 'em. I got news, we're cleaner and care more for our livestock than any ****in' corporate meat assembly line!

What's worse, is it now can make me liable if some DUmbshit doesn't know red meat has to be heated to at least 130Â° in order to kill off bacteria it can collect in the process between on the hoof and their plate!
