VANCOUVER — Family values doyenne Sarah Palin may have to re-evaluate her own family.
Reports Friday accuse Palin hubby Todd of sexually straying with a "massage therapist" subsequently charged with prostitution.
The once-vice presidential candidate and top Tea Party hostess may find her future political ambitions jeopardized if National Enquirer reports are borne out.
Alaska's "First Dude" left some physical evidence behind of the alleged fling with Anchorage party gal Shailey Tripp, the newspaper reports. Police have confiscated the evidence that reportedly ties Todd to the dalliance.
The Enquirer claims to have found documents that Tripp contributed to Sarah's run for governor of Alaska by offering free massages to an unamed person who worked on the campaign.
The paper says that Tripp, 36, was arrested in Anchorage last year and charged with "maintaining a house of prostitution."
Trip was sentenced to volunteer service, a ban on CraigsList ads and a $500 fine, the report said.
The New York Daily News reports that this is typical of scandals the Palins have had to quash previously. After rumours flew that Todd was naughty in 2008 and 2009, Gov. Palin issued quick denials.
The latest accusations have not yet spurred a denial from Fox News host Palin or her husband.

I'll admit that I have posted links from the National Enquirer before, and they have broken major scandals long before the other media would touch them. That being said.
Police have confiscated the evidence that reportedly ties Todd to the dalliance.
This is just to conspiratorial sounding. The DUmmies will eat it up and just claim that the cops are covering for the Palins.

Getting a handjob from a massage ho is hardly what I'd call an "Affair," more like a pit-stop or a touch-and-go. Not that it's acceptable behavior for a married guy, but it really doesn't have a damned thing to do with whether his wife is a good or bad person.

To me, an "Affair" entails some sort of emotional involvement, however self-delusional it may be, and Clinton's fling with the infatuated chubby intern was certainly that. However, a commercial transaction for fast, fast, fast relief of painful swelling with no illusions about it on either side may be underperforming morally for a married guy, but it sure as Hell doesn't have any emotional component at all when it happens.

Looks like the First Dude is off the hook.
The Anchorage Police Department blasted the National Enquirer’s recent report that Todd Palin is embroiled in a sex scandal involving an extramarital affair with a massage therapist who belonged to a prostitution ring.
"It was just guilt by innuendo, nothing else," Lt. Dave Parker told the Daily News on Wednesday. "There’s not one scintilla of evidence that Todd Palin had anything to do with this."
