This could be why I keep having relatives refuse to speak to me...
 I keep managing to annoy some of my less than left leaning relatives. This is a transcript of tonight's Facebook conversation. The cousin in question's father already had defriended me almost a year ago because of my views...he has yet to speak to me since. Names have been scrubbed to protect all involved... (On a side, note, yes my original status update was a bit on the inflammatory side, but never-the-less, I feel is a valid opinion and I personally like to incite some discussion...it helps me keep sharp...at least I think so.)

Me (status update)

So while attempting to keep millions of Americans from affordable and accessible health care, only 8 of those voting to repeal the relatively weak steps taken last year have refused the free health care provided to congress. One even made a stink because his health care is delayed about 4 weeks. Hypocritical much? Oh wait, they're Republicans, hypocritical is part of the definition....

I perused the thread over there, and I think the people he's complaining about sounded quite reasonable.  Measured, polite responses.  I skipped the DUmmies' comments, as they started out with "Man, I wouldn't want to get in a debate with you!!!!!!!"

They keep saying HCR opponents should eschew congress' helth care coverage.

Yet Pelosi and her thugs exempted themselves from the law they passed for us.

Ain't it the truth, Cin, ain't it the truth! Even when we thru the fact in their face they wouldn't have to put up with the crapola they shoved down our throats, they still ignored us!

Hence the election landslide in November, yet they still act is if they know what's good for us!

ETA;

I'd like to get one of these assholes in a one on one and dare them to defend the policies they subject us to, all the while bein' exempt!!
