That too, but when the bastards come over the fence and drop the kid, there's nothing the lawyers and the politicians can do - the law of the land says that the kid is an American citizen.

Based on a hideously flawed interpretation of the 14th Amendment. Ask yourself this question--if American parents in a country illegally gave birth on foreign soil to a kid, say in Mexico, would that kid 1--be a Mexican citizen automatically, and have all the legal protections thereof, in addition to being an "anchor baby" for the parents?
Yeah, lemme know a country that has that kind of policy.
