A new USA Today/Gallup poll shows Sarah Palin's favorable rating has dropped to 38%, her lowest since just after bursting onto the national scene as Sen. John McCain's running mate in 2008. In the wake of controversy over her response to the Tucson shooting, her unfavorable rating hit a new high at 53%.

Favorability among whom?  The media?  Liberals?  Mouth-breathing, leftist trash?  Mackerel?

I'm supposed to think that Sarah has somehow or another been silenced because of some poll published in a leftist rag?

Okay, sure....   :whatever:

While braving the ice and snow and -2 degrees temperature this morning, going out to get a package of cigarettes, I decided to poll the general public waiting in line at the convenience store.

All seven gave Sarah Palin high marks, the most mild comment being, "Yes, she's pretty good, isn't she?"

One hundred percent approval.

There's no reason to believe franksolich's poll is less valid than the poll the primitives cited.

It cannot be a bouncy if everyone is in agreement. Zero bongs.

Well, the "yes, she's pretty good, isn't she?" stood out like a sore thumb when compared with the other comments, which were, uh, a great deal more enthusiastic.

One hundred percent agreement to be sure, but one agreer bordering on the neutral.

We would be kidding ourselves if we didn't admit that the Big Lie hasn't worked well against Sarah Palin in so many ways. I personally think she's aware of how the Joseph Goebbels groupies in the leftist-propaganda media (aka, the MSM) have succeeded in character assassinating her, has no illusions that she can overcome the fictional Sarah Palin these propagandists have created in the minds of the sheep, and is trying to draw the lightning to herself for as long as possible, to spare whoever emerges as our 2012 frontrunner from the same treatment for as long as possible.

Gotta go with GOBUCKS on this one.  Zero bongs.

Oh cool, since they like to cite US Today polls I guess they'll love that 57% of respondent on a USA Today/Gallup poll want Obamacare revoked or tweaked a bit, and a majority want Obama to work with Republicans not the other way around.

Yup, I expect a dozen threads on that USA Today poll any time now ::)

I tend to take polls with a grain of salt, not ever being able to know if the poll-takers are honestly and accurately reporting the results or if an unfair and mis-representative sample were questioned.

So, go Sarah :)

I just polled my 4 dogs and 3 cats! I'd poll the mules, horses and cows, but it's too damn cold outside! Besides, we all know how the jackasses would vote! Not sure about the horses, though I suspect the mares to all be in agreement that Palin is just fine with them. Hell the geldings would probably vote for her too, if they still had their nuts! She is a "looker' after all! The steers I have a suspicion just don't give a shit, since their days are numbered anyway and they won't be around to vote!

I got 4 tail wags, 2 meows, and silence outa the last cat! So I guess I'd call that 6 favorable and 1 undecided!

Makes about as much sense as any USA Today Poll where the hunt and pick political ideology in order to get the results they want!

Yes, but what about her FLAVOR-ability rating?

She's still a pretty good cook, right?

Yep! Biscuit is our breedin' stud. I can't put him anywhere near the mules as he thinks he needs to kick the shit outa everyone else!

ETA:

I'll have to take a pic of Biscuit and post it. He's a real character!
