Title: never doubt Dell laptops

I just dumped a beer across the keyboard on mine, and it is still ticking.

Be happy you didn't buy an HP.  We don't cover liquid spills.  :popcorn:

My kids spilled OJ into my HP machine.  It still mostly works. the only thoroughly fried keys are the ones right around the backspace key.

We have learned to be creative about dealing with that issue.


Mostly, it is a game machine now.

You can buy parts from the warranty repair center and install them yourself (or so I was told at work).  Replacing a keyboard is a pretty simple task and takes about five minutes.
