If someone gives you information, gives it to you - you did not steal it, is that illegal?

Reporters get information "under the table" all the time. Remember All the President's Men? Remember Deep throat?

I'm in.  Prosecute all of them if they break the law.  Probably need to update the law to make just knowing publication of current classified material a crime regardless of intent, if it's such a damn problem under the Espionage Act.
