A man was caught by the KGB trying to escape to the West.

"Why do you wish to leave the USSR," the KGB officer asked. "You do not like communism?

"I have no complaints," the man said.

"You do not like long lines for bread?" the officer asked.

"I have no complaints," the man said.

"Do you want more political freedoms?"

"I have no complaints," the man said.

"Then why were you trying to defect?"
