Google dictionary calls a fetus an "unborn human baby"
Here's what Google Dictionary say's exactly.
An unborn offspring of a mammal, in particular an unborn human baby more than eight weeks after conception.

Sounds like anti-abortion speak to me, or am I just being to sensitive? Anti-abortionists call a fetus a baby, and then condemn abortion as "baby killing".
Thesaurus say's a fetus is an "unborn human offspring".
unborn offspring: an unborn vertebrate at a stage when all the structural features of the adult are recognizable, especially an unborn human offspring after eight weeks of development

It *is* an unborn human baby. That doesn't make it a life.

7. Baby means a very young child AFTER it is born.

Right wing anti-abortionist wacko's frequently call a fetus a baby for political reasons and that is why I brought it up.
A fetus is not a baby.

11. They're entitled to their own opinion,
but they're not entitled to their own facts, as the saying goes. It's no great big deal really, I just think getting these terms confused doesn't help the debate.
Ironic considering you just used a fact you made up.
Do you DUmmies realize that psychopaths don't view other humans as a life?
Seems you have something in common with psychopaths.

16. Whenever I hear someone telling me it is murder
I always ask them if a miscarriage is considered involuntary manslaughter. . .and if so, do you arrest God or indict the woman to investigate her prenatal care?
I never get an answer. . .most look at me as if astounded. . .as if they never even considered such a question. That's when you realize how many people just repeat mindlessly whatever talking points they are fed, without even considering if there are any other ideas.
But even better, ask an anti-abortionist why there are no laws preventing men from having premarital sex. . .and explain how many potential babies are "murdered" each time a man discharges without an egg to fertilize. Then ask why this behavior isn't restricted, since it would obviously solve most of the abortion problem as well?
The first thing you'll always hear is immediate protests from every man around.
Well DUmmy braining someone with a hammer is murder if someone has a stroke do we arrest or indict God on murder charges?

13. Yes, a human fetus is human but not A human; just as a human spleen is human but not A human
A human who is pregnant is likely to have a human fetus, that, once born, will be a human being.
Yep everyday we pull out spleens of people that grow up to be adults someday. :mental:
They talk about us being violent yet they support the casual killing of the unborn.
Who has blood on their hands now?
-
Pro-abortion people are sick. Even if they are nice human beings in all other aspects of their life, they are sick with regards to their inhuman, unscientific, illogical, and immoral, postmodern view of human life.
I have no respect for that, especially when the same people turn around and defend murderers as if they are some royal class of people who deserve our tax dollars and undying worship ::)
-
I don't care what you call it, nothing will make it any better. They must not like to be reminded it's a baby, it's a lot easier not to care about an "unborn human offspring" then it is a unborn baby.
-
My close friend miscarried just this week, and I find it really sick to see them even attempting to compare miscarriage to abortion :argh:

'Zackly. They have to dehumanize them before they can justify killing them.
Kind of like how they have to dehumanize us before they can claim that we're all dangerous nuts who need to be rounded up and placed in gulags and/or executed because our very lives are crimes against humanity.
Yet, we're the ones full of hate ::)

The mental gymnastics they are willing to undertake to claim that even a late-term fetus is not actual life are truly horrifying. Despite all their bullshit invective about us being Nazis, or Fascists, or Authoritarian personalities, these freaks are far closer in spirit to the worst excesses of National Socialist eugenics, treating human life as property, and the superficially-legalistic institutionalized murder of innocents in the Reign of Terror than anyone but possibly Stormfront, and that's probably a disservice to Stormfront.
-
Fetus is latin for baby.
The average DUmmie views this as new information and willl still insist we are ignorant.
-
At least Stormfront is straight forward in their aims. Libs like to play with words to hide their true desire; an authoritarian state that dictates to the individual how they will lead their lives. From what they eat to how many children they can have.

Oh, don't forget they like to holler about us being racists, too. All available evidence indicates that black women have abortions far out of the percentage of society that they represent. To follow their logic, we are racist for opposing the murder of black babies.

This statement alone tells us alllllllll we need to know about the mindset of the pro-abortion, pseudo-intellectual, anti-American, pro-rape, dumpster diving shitbags that we are facing.
Brace yourselves. If a child's life is not of importance to them, you can rest assured YOU are of no consequence either... Remember, it's for the common good, comrades.
A death cult if I've ever seen one.

Yes, it's like saying the mom of a child who dies of cancer is the same as the mom who murders her child.

WHile I'm H5ing you for this, I wonder if said DUmmies shouldn't be allowed to just fall over and expire. They're wasting precious oxygen that we, or a soon-to-be-born child, could use.

16. Whenever I hear someone telling me it is murder

I was asked this very question back in August '10.
I asked if the mother in the hypothetical had spontaneously aborted do to some physiological condition beyond her control or if it was induced due to bad behavior on her part, i.e. being a heavy drinker.
My interlocutor was wholly unprepared because, I believe, he had not given it any thought because he did not think I would have given the issue any because I was supposed to comport with his preconceptions of being the brain-washed "fundie" (the beer in my hand, like the 7 others before it, was apparently unable to disabuse him of this notion).
After he stopped blinking he supposed a scenario wherein the mother was beset by a medical condition not of her choosing.
"Then why," I asked, "would I punish a woman more than likely already distraught over the loss of a child she would prefer to keep?"
"So what if she was a heavy drinker and that caused her to lose the baby?"
"Then why should I be concerned with someone who had so little care over her single greatest responsibility?"
He actually went on to fulminate about why it was just her responsibility exclusively. I pointed out that terms of exclusivity had never been offered by me but his complaint was interesting in light of the fact that the choice of keeping or aborting were--according to liberals--exclusively the mothers.
The conversation dragged on for another 3 hours.

Still amazes me to this day that people actually twist themselves into pretzels trying to make the above bolded fact....when it is quite the opposite according to doctors and scientists. Pro-aborts seem to forget it was lawyers and Supreme court justices who decided the above bolded was "fact" not doctors and scientists. :banghead:

Correct. One day, once they finish creating their new grammar, we may be able to learn it and no longer be illiterate.
-
Their discomfort with the reality that a fetus is someone's baby is similar to their outrage over photographs of abortionists' victims.

Good thing ya haven't ask me that question to my face! I would be astounded by your complete stoooopidity, right before I ripped your mindless skull from your shoulders and pissed down the hole!
Any parent, male or female that has been thru a miscarriage would likely stomp a mud puddle in your ass for such a comment!
"Toots" had one when she was 20! We still regard it as a lost child! So **** you and your mental gymnastics tryin' to absolve yourselves of the killing of children!
I hope someday for one of you pukes to say this shit to my face! It would be worth a stretch in the county lock up for assault! Though up here, I'd probably get off with a self defense plea and a medal, as most around here would consider such comments to be an assault on humanity in general!

HUH?!
So, someone has a choice to have a miscarriage or not? :???: You're stupidity is overwhelming.

A few years ago my sister had a miscarriage. One of my nephews was four years old at the time. She was only a couple months pregnant and the baby (a girl) was so tiny she could hold her in one of her hands. They decided to let their children see her. The older ones were old enough to understand what happened but the four year old was clueless. He came in the bedroom, looked in my sister's hand and said, "Oh, a baby." And then he went on about his life. Even a four year old knows, which makes him smarter than a DUmmie.

That happened to me when I had my second miscarriage. It was called an "abortion". As if I didn't even want the baby. It made me sick and I bawled my eyes out.
I hate this "it ain't a baby" crap. We heard our daughter's heartbeat when I was six weeks pregnant.

Well, kevvy, apparently you don't have a very clear idea just what 'Involuntary manslaughter' means legally. Normally it means the person charged was doing something so reckless, willful, or grossly negligent (Not just plain-vanilla negligent) that they should have known they were likely to end up killing someone.
Now damn few miscarriages occur because pregnant women are base-jumping, free-running over jagged terrain, or heli-skiing, almost all of them happen due to simple unfortunate chances of biology.
So all your question shows is that you are an ignorant asshole, and I expect that is why they look at you funny, not because you have suddenly shed any light on their benighted existence.
-

I know they call it a 'spontaneous abortion' but I find that to be a real misnomer, and one that is especially harsh on the woman who is miscarrying and wants the baby. I know if that ever happened to me that I would probably bawl as well.
-

I remember seeing The Heiress on the ultrasound at about 8 weeks. Her heartbeat reminded me of an M-60 machinegun firing.

A miscarriage is actually noted as a spontaneous abortion in medical records.
Really sorry to hear about your friend. :(

Lord they are a pathetic lot.
