Gohmert: FBI Mum On Loughner's Politics To Avoid Embarrassing Obama's Constituents
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) complained today that the FBI is not releasing details on suspected Tucson shooter Jared Loughner's politics, and suggested that it's because his politics may turn out to be liberal: "it may be embarrassing to some of the current administration's constituents, and, heaven help us, we wouldn't want to embarrass any of the president's constituents."
According to Bloomberg News:
Representative Louie Gohmert, a Texas Republican, said an FBI official who spoke today at a closed-door security briefing for lawmakers "stonewalled" attempts to learn about the personality and political beliefs of shooting suspect Jared Loughner, saying that could jeopardize the investigation and prospective prosecution.
Gohmert suggested the evasiveness was designed to insulate President Barack Obama's political base.

2. Louis Gohmert is possibly the stupidest member of Congress, which is saying a lot

By the way, Louis, everyone in the country counts as one of the President's constituents.
As long as Sheila Lee Jackson is in congress she holds the record of stupidest member of congress.

However, it is just fine for sheriff DUchenik to politicize and give the defense grounds for acquittal in trials.
