I have never done a Facebook page, so not sure how it works. It seems a bit complicated for something that would seemingly be simple.
The page is "Recall Sheriff Dupnik". Can someone give me some pointers in how to get friends, etc? Thanks.
If anyone is an "expert" in Facebook manipulations, let me know as well.

I already joined. Though I am not an "expert" with Facebook, I know enough about it. Also shared the link on my wall, so that might draw in some people.

So how about friending some of us then?

Yeah, I jumped in there too.

I'm there.

I have.

OK, I bite. How do I "friend" someone? I have looked at half a dozen howto videos, and am still clueless.
Thanks for jumping in. I note there are a couple of other sites regarding the sheriff, but they seem to be a bit dormant. No real activity there. And I'm in California, so I'll have to do everything remotely, but I do have the petition template and will create the full petition by late morning (Pacific time).
Let's put this idiot on notice. And I have three law enforcement friends myself who are encouraging my efforts, so it's not a law enforcement bias.

I'm there.
Me too.

Click on their name and at the upper right of their info will be a button to "send friend request". You might want to include a note as to who you are. (that link is at the bottom of the friend request)

My first name is Kent.

Going strong...over 300 joined so far! Not so much, I guess compared to others, but it's my first Facebook effort. I may even talk on the John and Ken show in Los Angeles, as their producer just sent me an email expressing interest in promoting the site as well.
Again, thanks to all here who helped make this possible. I'm going to create a separate thread later one with regard to the entire recall process.

I added contact info for Bruce St. James. He broadcasts out of Phoenix on KTAR from 9am-12pm MST.

Wow, that was a rush. Got so many friends going. I even got an email for Redeye Radio and a producer for the Mike Savage show. They said if papers were filed for the recall, to give them a call.
Anyway, I actually found an organization that is skilled in handling recalls. I passed the site on to them, but will remain as one of the site administrators. Frankly, I don't want anything to do with the official management of the recall, but I'm happy to do this as a courtesy. IN addition, Dan Baltes, the director of the organization who is going to spearhead the fundraising and recall effort, is better able to handle it. He's got three troops on the ground in Tucson who will run this thing. He appreciates the HUGE jumpstart that the site gave him though, as I have a lot of Tucson "likes" that he needed.
And it comes down to YOU guys... thanks for jumping in at the getgo. That seed of about 20 likes really helped get the ball rolling...so frankly, this the recall effort is about YOU! I am highly grateful, and let's help Dan spearhead this drive.
