An open letter to my Republican friends.

To my employer, some of my siblings, neighbors, church acquaintances, coworkers, and other Republicans I have never even met.

We disagree on many things when it comes to the role of government in improving the lives of the vast majority of Americans. The basic disagreement is that you still trust the richest to do the right thing, but I have long ago lost faith in the willingness of the richest Americans to put the well-being of workers and their fellow Americans above their greed. So while I'd prefer not to involve government in providing for the welfare of the citizens, the power brokers in America have left me no better choices.

Those of you whom I personally know, I don't believe for a moment you would pull the trigger yourselves. But every one of you has defended those who do. Every one of you. I have thought for a full day on this and not even one of you professed Republicans in my life has changed the channel, let alone condemned the ever increasing vitriol of Fox News and the radio stooges. Not one of you. And every single one of you is old enough to remember how so many stood by and did nothing while peaceful protesters were beaten and gunned down in the 50's and 60's thanks to the Republicans who told everyone these protesters would destroy our country.

I will still work for you, welcome you as family, wave to you in the neighborhood, help you when you are sick, sit next to you in church and be civil to you in public. But make no mistake about it. I am ashamed of you.

I hope you are ashamed of yourself. Shamed enough to finally do something about it.

I think the DUmp is worse then it has ever been over this shooting. I shocked i even went over there.

If anyone needed proof that democrat DUmmies lie all the time, there you go. Six whoppers in a single sentence.

One has to remember that the DUmp is nothing more then a bunch of shrieking, overwrought, hysterical numbskulls who are self deluded into thinking that they matter in the body politic.

They carry on and make up things thinking that it influences people into believing what they do but it doesn`t.
Impotent children with their little fists bunched up cursing God but unable to crawl out of the crib they have been put in.

This is complete bullshit.  You are a shameless liar.  The left engages in political violence (pardon the pun) left and right.  New black panther members threaten voters at polling stations in Philadelphia, then you turn right around and exploit a child's murder to make a political statement and accuse us of condining violence.  This is nothing new for you.  You are merely showing the same hatered and intolerence for those who disagree with you today that you always have.  You are calling for censorship and trampling of rights, and resorting to strawman tactics.  The same as always.  You just have a new strawman at your disposal.  Not Sarah Palin, nor Fox News, nor any of the big names on talk radio have ever encouraged this kind of thing, but that doesn't stop blowhards like Olbermann from exploiting a dead little girl before the body has even gotten cold.  So make no mistake, I never respected you or your ilk.  I can't take you people seriously enough to even consider your thoughts or feelings on any topic.  You make me sick.

A response to my Democratic Underground Employee:

Thank you for your letter. I have decided to take your words to heart. Yes, I am ashamed.

I am ashamed that I hired you in the first place. Therefore, you are fired.

Again, thanks for letting me know how ashamed I must feel for hiring such a loser in the first place. I will hire someone more worthy and appreciative of their job.

Save if for yourself, liar.  To the extent this dipshit was political at all, he was one of yours, not one of ours.

Still zero, DUmmies, ZE-RO evidence that anyone on the Right had any influence on this psycho's behavior. Come up with that, then we'll talk.

Standing on the coffins of the newly dead to make political points? You are one sad sack of shit.

Coming from a group who can't even bring themselves to hold terrorists responsible for their actions, and instead blame their own country for them, it's to be expected, I suppose.

I can't be blamed for something that happened in the 50's or 60's considering I was born in the 80's.

To understand more deeply the fallacies here, consider the innumerable instances of leftist violence we've seen over the years.  Would Moslem convert Carlos Bledsoe have murdered the army recruiter in Arkansas had he not been exposed to the anti-white, anti-Western and anti-Christian rhetoric that prevails in modern America?  Would Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber, have perpetrated his acts had he not been weaned on the environmentalist radicalism so prevalent today?  Would all the domestic terrorists who firebombed fur stores and vandalized SUVs and research facilities have done so were it not for this ideological force?  Would Colin Ferguson have targeted whites in the 1993 Long Island Railroad massacre had he not been assailed with anti-white rhetoric from the Reverend Wrights, Jacksons and Sharptons of the world?

...

Now we come to the crux of the matter: If rightist rhetoric can inspire others to violence just like the leftist variety, what determines culpability?  Well, we must ask the only relevant question about that rhetoric:

Is it the Truth?

Sure, you may warn that a new resident in the neighborhood did time in prison for child molestation, and an angry mob may kill him.  But did you do wrong?  On the other hand, it's a different matter entirely if harm befalls someone after you wrongly and maliciously label him a child molester.

Thus, anytime you sound an alarm -- whether it contains the ring of Truth or that of lies -- it can serve as a call to violent action for some.  But what should we do?  Create a Fahrenheit 451 situation in which ideas are roundly suppressed and people are kept comfortably numb?  No one wants that, and it wouldn't work anyway.

At the end of the day, one who speaks the Truth may inspire violence against livers of lies just as one who speaks lies may inspire violence against the tellers of Truth.  But this isn't the fault of the Truth; it simply means that society needs more of it.

So the moral of this story is that we all can inspire violence with words, but not all of us speak inspired words.  Evil may be done in the name of good or evil, but it is only those who speak the latter who have blood on their hands.
http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/06/who_really_inspires_violence_t.html

Not about this incident, but applicable.  The left would love to silence and disarm all those that disagree with their opinions and rhetoric, but they are not only far from guiltless themselves, they are also the ones that love to tell lies to inspire hatred.  We have no power to stop all nutcases, but we do have the power to tell only the truth...something the left can't even recognize.

Durbin blamed Palin without saying her name. Where was Durbin and this DUmmie during 2001-2009 when Bush was in office?

Did not see any letters to friends or telling people to calm down with the political rhetoric then. They fueled the fire.

To Smiley Rose,

What a sanctimonious bucket of bilge water! If you want to place blame on this, why not put it directly at the feet of the Anointed One? To wit;

Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
** Obama to His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
** Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
** Obama to His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
** Obama on the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.“
** Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat”
** Obama to lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”
** Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”
** Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”.

Or does your rage only apply to conservatives who had nothing to do with this?

Sincerely yours,

The American people

You may remember the reptilian Rahm's only memorable quote : "Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before."
Let's hope there are enough decent people in the House to prevent that, because we haven't a prayer in the Senate. Communists have 53 there, plus the two Maine women. Expect an effort to reinstate the Clinton war on black rifles.
