Hi!
Did you bring beer? :cheersmate:
Welcome. What does your screen name mean?
Welcome. Time to lose the accent.
KC
Somebody also keeps asking about peach cobbler....
It means "wolf heart" and is from a Lord of the Rings-based short story I wrote a few years ago.
Long-time conservative, first-time poster.
I'm a refugee from the east coast, having lived all but the last four years of my life there (28+ in NJ, 2ish in Massachusetts), and life there really helped to cement conservative values and perspectives in my mind. Though I miss home, I'm happy to live where I don't have to jump through near so many government hoops in order to own a gun to protect myself and where the welfare state is a bit smaller (even though as an unemployed man the government would like me to think otherwise, heh).
I won't drone on, but it's nice to be here :)
:II:
Hiya and thanks for the beer! :cheersmate:
Where are you now?
Welcome!
Welcome from another New Jerseyite!
Thanks; where are you mired in NJ? I'm a native Trentonian (Princeton is my adopted hometown, tho'; yes, liberals an' all).
Welcome to the cave!
Welcome to CC.
I grew up in Janesville, WI and had to see where Gillet was located. Way up by Green Bay. Such a small town too. No wonder why the job market isn't too hot up there. Hope you find a job soon. I am also unemployed.
NW part of the State, Morris County.
Heh, I have to look up Janesville to see where it was located.
Not bad; one of the more Republican-leaning counties, if I recall rightly. Never visited, though.
it's nice to be here :)
Welcome to the Cave. :cheersmate:
Great place for conservatives.
It's between Madison, WI and Rockford, IL. My parent's home is only 10-15 minutes from the Illinois state line.
Thankfully yes, but we've had an influx of Democrats over the years, but we're still considered heavily Republican.
Nice to have you here - welcome! :cheersmate:
Well, welcome again! What are we drinking??
Just some Dew at the moment. A Guinness would be nice...
Welcome to The Cave. Pull up a seat, and enjoy!
Hi ya -- yet another NJer, down in south Jersey in blueberry country. Welcome to the Cave! :-)
Thanks! South Jersey is nice; been ages since I was further south than Bordentown (OK, Camden when I drove trucks).
Welcome!
As far as something to drink is concerned, a cuppa joe would be nice about now....
Camden's a war zone, simply put; I don't see it getting better anytime soon.
I grew up in a tiny town in Burlington County on the Delaware River, next to Palmyra, left for college, came back and lived in Collingswood for awhile, and have been here on the edge of Atlantic county for the last 20 years. Do you miss the Shore out there in cheese country? That's one of the biggest reasons I'm still here. Bet ya don't see O.T.C crackers out there either!
Welcome aboard, my friend!!!! :cheersmate:
Love your take on Meatwad, although I'm not sure Master Shake and Frylock would appreciate the slight... :-)
I'm more of a Phil Ken Sebben kinda guy, myself.
"Ha ha!!!!! Multiple entendres...." :rotf:
Meatwad? I thought that was a raspberry or tomato maybe :rotf:
No offense to your Photoshop skills, I'm a dork.
And welcome!
