Hello everyone, My name is Tania and I live in Maine. I work at Walmart(7 years), I am never sure
whether I should be proud that I have worked there for that long. In this economy I consider myself
fortunate to have a job at all. I also have started my own business, which is slow going at the
moment, but have some great ideas, which I hope to implement in the near future. The company is
called Seahorse Crafts of Maine.
At this moment, Maine will be introducing its new governor, Paul LePage. I am not quite happy in the
state of affairs this country is in, but we are all in this together, so we must hash it out. Hope to
get involved in the forum.

With this economy, you should be glad you have a job. There are a lot of decent people that can't say that. I spent the last three years doing work I hated but I finally got a job I like that gives me a chance to do what I enjoy.

Not to be abrupt or anything; simply for purposes of "market research," learning what brings people here.

Well, to be honest, two reasons: Somebody I was with on another forum is a member here. The other forum , I was on, was shutdown due to many disagreements that got way out of hand. Even though another forum was somewhat put in its place, wasn't my bag so to speak.

Welcome, seahorse. I'm from a bit further west in Upstate NY than Carl is. A tip for you--there's two animals you should never discuss in here--ptarmigans and bunnies. Why, might you ask? Just stick around and watch. Eventually it'll become evident.

Okay, not quite what I had in mind.
You should be able to browse to that folder on your computer and select that file. Once it's selected, click the 'Change Profile' button.

While I did not BS you, I will remind you of a post you made on the misfit site that was brought over here:
If I may, I did like Sparky lots better before Scoobs, Jewels etc came on. He put on a macho act for seem reason when they were present. That did annoy me. Whether it was because Sparky and scoobs dated or whatever.Sparky argued all by himself very well, I don't understand why he felt the need to bring these other people in.
How is Athena, CEO, Cujo and the rest of the psychos doing by the way?

For the record, SCC didn't get shut down because of any arguements going on there. They were shut down because the Portsmouth Herald sucks and is bleeding cash. You may have noticed that their website is now subscription-based, meaning any stories you want to see there you either have to register or PAY for.
Which is why they're sucking even harder now. Local news is covered just as well by other area outlets that don't charge or want your personal data.

Couldn't tell you how they are. I keep in contact with Internet Geek, Bullyforme and ZeldaPin, GreatwhiteSnake thru Facebook.GWS made a comment about Carol She Porter leaving, and i made a snip about Athena being upset. I immediately thought about Sparky and was wondering what naughtiness he was up these days. I see by reading his earlier remark that he hasn't changed one iota :wink:

SCC was the Porchmouth Herald's half ass attempt at on line revenue generation but became more of a mill stone as time went on. It never generated the hoped for traffic for the bricks and mortar operation. It will be interesting to see how much longer they can hold on to their current business model. It is dinosaur media at its liberal finest wrapped around advertising which keeps the lights on. (Circulation is probably under 18k per day.)
Some old threads can be accessed on the way back machine. Do you ever get to geek's site? Last time I saw it it was pretty much a ghost town.
