Title: Hey "BEast" Fans
Post by: Rebel on December 29, 2010, 07:07:35 AM
How in the world can you live with yourself having a BCS automatic bid? You guys seriously suck. Best and only ranked team in the "BEast", 9-3 WVU, went down to a mid-tier NC State and your "Conference Champ", unranked UCONN, is going to the Orange Bowl 8-4 against #7 Oklahoma. 10 bucks says Oklahoma isn't going to choke on this one.

"BEast" = the NFC West of the BCS.  :lmao:

And yet my Frogs are joining that conference.  Probably a good move for football.  I bet our golf, track & baseball teams will kick their asses too.  If any of the Big East schools even have those sports.  I'm betting they have lots of Lacrosse, Rowing & Equestrian teams.

TCU -  2011 Big East Champions. Hell, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, etc.

I wouldn't have joined. Had TCU, BYU and Utah stayed, while adding BSU, the MWC could have feasibly replaced the Big East in their automatic bid. It wouldn't have made sense because the MWC would have been a helluva lot tougher than the BEast" ....and I laugh every time I see one of their fans call it that.

It was a tough decision, but made easier when the Utes decided to go to the PAC-10 and BYU decided to attempt to become the West Coast & Mormon version of Notre Dame.

Fiesta Bowl...not the Orange Bowl. It's Stanford vs. VT in the Orange Bowl.

On a related note, this is a pretty cool video of TCU imploding the west side of the stadium a few weeks ago.  (Please let me know if this shows up, YouTube is blocked for me)
