AP article. (http://www.npr.org/2010/12/22/132269123/u-n-to-probe-treatment-of-alleged-wikileaks-source?ft=1&f=1001)
Just another reason why the UN is worthless. All these little :censored: pussies whining about his treatment has prompted the UN to want to investigate. I'm sure that Teh Won will allow it to happen. The only question is which terrorist country will send the investigators.
-
I can't image he's being treated any worse then a terrorist would. Why not let them "investigate"? What would they find?
-
How he's treated? :argh:
He's a traitor to the Country of America. He should be hanged.
-
He should be hanged.
That is a bit over the top. And if they do kill him (which I doubt) it'll be via injection or somthing.

Hanging is the only method for traitors like him and most liberals.

He hasn't even been proven guilty yet. Until he is I'm on his side.
-
And the UN responds to North Korea,Venezuela,Iran,Yemin...etc how?
-
This is none of the un's business. This is a matter between the U.S. Military and the alleged ::) traitor.
-

He confessed. He's guilty. Liberals truly are stooooopid.

Gee, why not indeed? How about we look at how prisoners are treated in, say, North Korea, Russia, et al?
It's publicity, nothing more. Even a mouth-breathing ****tard like you should know that.

Expose him to nuclear radiation from critical mass. :-)

Innocent until proven guilty is for the justice system, not for public opinion. People are entitled to think he is guilty or not. This is not North Korea. Use your brain before you shoot out of your ass.
-

I never said people weren't. Hell, I'm almost certain he is, I'm just not going to say much until he is found guilty in court.

Just enough to look like a complete jackwagon.
-
100 years ago he would have been taken out to the yard and shot in the head after he confessed.

Then you need to STFU.

Not it's appropriate and would send a message to other Julian Assange wannabe's.
When the prosecution provides the links to deaths in Afghanistan that were a result of this little POS stealing classified military doccuments...he'll be the newest occupant of Death Row at Ft. Leavenworth.
As for the U.N. they can pound sand. If anything the corrections soldiers at Quantico are going above and beyond to treat this little turd with kid gloves so there isn't even a whiff of what the U.N. is going to hunt for.
This was brought to the U.N. by one of the anti-war groups that has turned a traitor to his country and his brothers in arms into a War Hero.

Compaq, once again I note that your tendency is to engage mouth before brain. You have a disgustingly vile habit of doing that, but I suppose it goes with the lib territory. :whatever:
It's perfectly fine to insist on his being found guilty in a general court martial (do you even know what that is?) before rendering judgment, but when we're speculating like we're doing on these pages do you honestly think he's anything other than guilty?
Anyway, back to the point of the discussion.
Unfortunately, the U.S. has the history of using the U.N. - the POS bastion of anti-Americanism that it is - for its own purposes. And that is exactly what other countries use it for - not as some sort of forum to air international grievances in a diplomatic manner (this is the liberal viewpoint), but to manipulate the organization to get what they want. Any rudimentary study of organizations in general would reveal that truth.
That is why the U.N. is ineffective, wasteful, fraudulent, and fundamentally useless. Furthermore, that organization occupies valuable real estate on Manhattan that would be better used for, say, a parking garage or two.
The U.N. has no authority and no business getting involved with the WikiLeaks thing, except to duck its head under the covers so that ITS fraud and corruption isn't further exposed.

I spent about 4 hours last night going through the Wikileak site and was fascinated at what I found.
We knew years ago that this site was out to open closet doors and embarrass the world.----
My favorite so far is a leaked film from Thailand when the king was in the hospital. The crown prince decided to throw a birthday party for his DOG. All was beautiful and expensive, the crown prince looked like an English man smoking a pipe ,those jug ears and dressed well.
His wife wearing a hat sat next to him and she was as naked as a J Bird. Where were her cloths, what did the servants think of her wandering about at an event bare arsed.??? For anyone interested, yes she does shave all body hair.
From there I went to a site that detailed all the Email that David Irving received from not only everyday Americans but a couple of Officers in the Airforce. Is this dude Gay or just nuts.??? He is trying to rewrite history and it perturbs me the huge number of New Nazis growing in the world.
Lists of people that PAID to attend ultra secret semitars he holds and the names of those he does not trust.
I found a link to some TV program called Democracy Now that intervied Danial Ellsburg about the leaks. The name was very familiar so now I need to do a search on him as I have forgotten all about his exploits---and how he escaped prison for writing his book.
Interesting what the CIA has named it's task force looking into the leaks. I kid you not, the initials for this operation are WTF-----Wikileaks Task Force

Actually, I prefer the "Olde English" (read: Elizabethan era) penalty for traitors. Hanging by the neck until half-dead . . . then, cutting down, and eviscerating (the "drawing") the condemned--then, in the last minute or so before said traitor died, burning said entrails in a roaring fire that was specially prepared for the occasion. The traitor's body was then beheaded, and quartered, and said quarters were parboiled and set up at strategic points throughout whatever city the punishment was being rendered in . . . as an "advisory" to any who might be considering doing something similar.
That is a deterrant. :fuelfire: :fuelfire: :fuelfire:

Emasculation is also a part of the procedure - probably just before the "drawing" part.
