Blake Edwards, the director and writer known for clever dialogue, poignancy and occasional belly-laugh sight gags in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "10" and the "Pink Panther" farces, is dead at age 88.

I know one thing If not for him ,millions of kids would never have known the Pink Panther on Saturday mornings if not for his movies.
