I think the people that live outside of the regions being flooded with them don't realize the organized efficiency these groups are operating with in these states and how the marching orders are being carried out fairly thoroughly by the footsoldiers as in gaming the government and local populaces.

Spot on. The dream act has little to do about illegal aliens getting a college education. It is about legitimizing their existence in this Nation. Every notice that many of the illegal alien college students pushing for the dream act are majoring in hispanic or chicano studies. They don't want to become doctors, or engineers to benefit all citizens of the U.S.. They want to become community activists for people of their tribe who are here in the U.S. illegally and those still over the border wating to come over here.

There is a store at the mall called "Latin Lingo" and one of the t-shirts they sell says "We didn't cross the border, the border crossed us." There are many who honestly believe that they have every right to be in America regardless of any laws or borders.

Correct, this is a war to them. They are still fighting the Mexican-American war, ever decreasing as a "silent invasion", whether we U.S. citizens choose to acknowledge it or not.

Shit. It's just amnesty. It's even worse than the blackmail of tying border enforcement to "comprehensive reform." It's the amnesty without the enforcement.
One way to kill it (other than simply filibustering it) might BE to amend it with super-serious border enforcement--walled highways, troops, the whole enchilada, the maximum tortilla. That would kill it in the House or in conference, in the direst case of it passing the Senate.
I'd rather it just stay filibustered, though, until there's no chance of this thing rearing its ugly head in January.

I'm not against legal immigration and would not mind at ALL seeing any quota we have of immigrants from Muslim countries rescinded and given to Hispanics wanting to legally immigrate, but, just for S&G's, don't they have an entire f'n country they can fix? Like the threat of Muslim terrorism, this is a dagger poised at the throat of America and all she stands for. Or what she used to stand for. Thanks to the incompetent, politically correct, morally corrupt morons who are running the country into a ditch, nay a chasm, it is only a matter of time before the crazies in La Raza and MECHA achieve their aims. It saddens me greatly to write this, but this country is facing an insiduous undermining of her foundations, ably assisted by the ruling elite. They sink their tentacles into our school system and teach American kids all the wrong things about the history of this country for starters. We're raising a generation of lambs to be led to the slaughter. Those of us who stand and fight are labeled racists, bigots, homophobes, and other terms of endearment. I'll be dead within 30 years, most likely, but my grandson is not going to be, and I fear what the future holds for him. :bawl:
