With the national spotlight focused on Memphis this week to mark the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., two presidential candidates will be making detours to the Bluff City.
Democrat Hillary Clinton's campaign announced today that she will visit Memphis on Friday "to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in remembrance of the 40th anniversary of his death."
Republican John McCain is also planning a Memphis visit Friday.
Democratic Sen. Barack Obama's official schedule indicates the candidate will be in Indiana on Friday afternoon.
No further details are available.
