India Thursday termed as 'unacceptable' the 'pat down' search Indian ambassador Meera Shankar was subjected to in the US, the second time in three months, and said it will take up the issue with Washington. >>>
'Let me be frank, this is unacceptable to India. We are going to take it up with the government of US that such unpleasant incidents do not recur,' said Krishna. >>>
The Clarion-Ledger added that Shankar had asked for a private security check, but she was led to clear box for the 'pat down' in public view.
'The way they pat them down - it was so humiliating,' said Tan Tsai, a research associate at MSU's International Security Studies Center who witnessed the screening. 'Anybody who passed by could see it.'

Banovac told the paper that because of her wheelchair she is typically hand-searched. But the TSA's new, enhanced pat-downs have left her feeling violated. She said an "unpleasant" TSA experience two weeks ago prompted her revealing approach to pat-downs.
"If it happened anywhere else, it would have been sexual assault," she said.

If it needs to be explained, this is fascism.
Dignity? Right to privacy? 4th amendment rights? Forget about it. This is intentional. This is designed to embarrass you into the porno machines. Doesnt matter if your invalid, if your in a wheelchair, if your body has metal from surgery in it or if you happen to have a medical condition requiring you to wear a catheter to contain your urine. This is not about security except in an abstract sense. This is to condition americans to yield their god given liberties to the imperial federal government. Govt will always 'push' the boundaries. They will push and push and push. And they will not quit pushing until enough people stand up and say enough!

After an agent groped around his genitals from in front and from behind, Ely challenged him to explain what sort of anomaly had turned up on his full-body scan.
"He said there was something suspicious hanging from between my legs," Ely, 63, wrote in his RDU online comment. "I told him that something suspicious was my [genitals], you dummy."
