Title: Berkeley may pass resolution to honor jailed Army private (wikileaks leaker)
Post by: Ralph Wiggum on December 08, 2010, 04:44:21 PM
The Berkeley City Council will consider a resolution that would declare the Army private suspected of leaking classified information to WikiLeaks a hero and call for his release.

The council plans a vote Tuesday on the resolution in support of Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is being held in a military brig in Virginia. A city commission already has approved it.

Bob Meola, who authored the resolution, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that Manning is a patriot who deserves a medal.

Only in California!  While we were there, the end of the Bush era, the town up the road from us kept voting to cede (sp?) from the union, like every other week or so.  :mental: :mental:

Berkeley is obvious a haven for traitors. The only way to be safe is to nuke them from orbit.

This is exactly why we don't spend our hard earned money in California.  I'd much rather go vacation down in Arizona or next door in Utah.

You know that Berkley is filled with idiots that think passing a resolution at the city level means jack to the Pentagon. If we had anyone with balls in Congress now would be an exeelent time to take all the fedral funding from thier city and that sorry excuse of a college.

You might as well ask that no-name town in Vermont how their impeachment of GWB and Karl Rove is holding up.

That would be Brattleboro you're speaking of.  The place for flatlander hippies that were just too batshit crazy for even Massivetwoshits.
