For weeks leading up to the midterm elections, President Obama and others in the White House warned that one reason for voters to stick with Democrats was that if Republicans won control of the House, they would put Joe Barton, the congressman who infamously apologized to BP, in charge of an energy committee.
Their predictions were wrong.

True, we may as well face it, our administration is the laughing stock of the world. We are being drained of any power we have built up for the last 300+ years.
None of this has become from those drooling wolves on the out side, it all has come from within our own people.
We have become rotten from the inside out, it is not the outsiders that will destroy us, the enemy is US.
I wonder how world history will be taught in the coming years.--------America taken down by it's own people.
America that sent our troops to a far and distant land to die for their the rights of the people in a distant country----meanwhile America was being invaded from the south and huge tracks of our land are now off limits to us as it is too dangerous for us to go there.
Why are Americans still dieing in Afghanistan, strange but I say a quick story in Geology Today that says we have found Trillions of dollars of minerals in that country that is UN tapped. Sort of like the Oil in the middle east becoming a reason for war.
This is a new world folks, sure we face terrorists that may blow up something and kill 5-6,000 people. These dudes are just a drop in the bucket when one looks at what is going on inside this country. We will catch the outsiders but what to do with the insiders that by their actions fatten their wallet and destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands.
If we can escape the banks that forclose on a home that the owner has no mortgage on or is up to date on their payments. If we can duck socialised medicine and the death panels and 4 year wait for a needed operation, if we survive millions of small businesses going under, the influx of foreigners that demand to be coddled or those that wish to implement their laws over ours----
We may escape this for a few years, but, what happens to our kids, the ones that have just a trade license or those that have a GED.?----What happens to our kids that have a 4 year degree in square dancing and basket weaving or recreational science.?? All the kids that take classes in some subject at a JR college's have a degree in criminal science, or bookeeping or computers.---All these sciences keep changing and unless the child goes to school every year they will be left behind by the kids that were educated AFTER them.
What got me going here was a picture in my local paper about the graduation of the kids from the University of New Hampshire. The photo showed two very good looking girls blowing bubbles, their major was Recreation science.
No where were the pictures of the graduates in Chemistry, Math or Botany. No pictures of graduates that had spent 4 years learning political science or Zoology. Not one of the people that got their Ba in nursing or or agriculture.
Just these two girls that know the rules to all sports.
We are an a train that that has gone out of controll, can we stop it before it derails and becomes open for the scavengers to pick apart.??
