Title: U.S. sailor sells classified Navy documents to FBI agent posing as foreign spy
Post by: bijou on December 07, 2010, 11:07:54 AM
A low-level U.S sailor passed classified documents to an FBI agent posing as a foreign intelligence official in exchange for cash, according to a search warrant.

As the impact of the WikiLeaks saga continues, the U.S. Navy faces a security concern of its own after Reserve Intelligence Specialist 3rd Class Bryan Minkyu Martin was arrested for selling dozens of secret or top secret documents to an undercover agent.

Martin, 22, was taken into police custody last week but has not not yet been charged, while the Naval Criminal Investigative Service continues its inquiry.

Have fun in federal "pound-me-in-the-ass" prison, douchebag.

There's an old expression on the boats--Anyone can make an honest mistake, but you NEVER want to be the SECOND guy to make the same screwup.

Manning is looking at life in prison.  You think this kid ain't looking at the same?

You're right. Hanging is actually the fastest way to die and not gruesome and agonizing enough.  :thatsright: Radiation poisoning it is.  :-)

Now now.  Done "properly" (like the Iranians do it, from a crane lifting the condemned off the ground by a noose), one can (and has) lasted for more than an hour before dying.

And of course the law of intended consequences strikes again.

A Bradley Manning wannabe copycat who has done nothing but end up in a cell next to the guy he was emulating.

WTF is going on here?
It is scary that these ****s "may" spend life in prison when after being found guilty should be hung!

OK - an ass raping prior to hanging would be acceptable as a form of extracurricular activities to keep their liberal platitudes satisfied.

Good news is he got caught. The bad news is how many more of these weasles are getting away with this so some country can make use of the intel or they can become rich?

Well, maybe we can combine the best of all three: Let them suffer with radiation poisoning for a while. Then when they're really, really sick hang them from a noose. But all gentle-like so it doesn't break their necks...they're just slowly having their air supply squeezed off. Then shoot them, but employ the progressive values they obviously support...start with BB's and work your way up.

It makes me wonder whether or not the military is doing proper background checks before they hand out these top secret access credentials. When I first joined, a confidential was no problem, a secret clearance wasn't much more of a problem. Anything beyond that, I was told they interviewed neighbors, past employers, etc. I still remember all of the problems that the Walker clan caused for the military because they compromised the secure radio equipment. And yet the traitor shit still continues.

I have noticed a great deal of 'Classification creep' since GWOT started.  'Confidential' is hardly used at all anymore, anything classified at all gets slapped with 'Secret.'  Things that during the Cold War would have only really been operationally sensitive enough to be 'Secret' are now 'TS.'  Perversely, the effect of this has been to create a need for anyone who actually needs access to operationally sensitive information to have higher access than was formerly necessary to do their job at all.

Heh

I wonder how many PFC Mannings were running around and profiting off their access before the Wikileaks saga.

Appears the DOD and State department woke up to the fact their data is entirely unsecured.

PFC Manning had ideological reasons for leaking it appears.

One has to wonder how many people were selling shit for the old fashioned reason.  The people doing it for the old fashioned reason are a little bit more careful.

I look at what they call NNPI these days.  Quite frankly, about 98 percent of supposedly "classified" nuke information can be found on the Interwebz.

Now boat capabilities, specific eqiupments, etc?  Yeah, Secret or above, and then some.

Mike Huckabee stated that if the United States wants to keep anything secret they need to put it with Obama's college papers and birth certificate.

Ya know, you bring up a very good point A.J.
Maybe this is what was needed to bring lax security controls to light.

Unfortunately, some people may die in the process...

Too much James Bond here.   These wannabees are being paid chump change to sell out their country.

It cannot be the money, blackmale--in some cases yes I imagine, but that Walker family for all their years of spying never got more the $50,000 total.

This is so creepy, if they want money they could smuggle drugs or rob a bank.

Yup!

Manning couldn't get plugged in the ass often enough so he developed a treasonous hatred for YOUR nation just to kill your family.

I guess that be that "gay" thang...
