As Denis Leary once said: "Whining ****ing maggots.)
Oh, and did you know lonestarnot is done?
The only reason they came to an uneasy agreement, DUmors? Think about it real hard...what's 2 years away?

The lonestarnut primitive must be drunk.
The 0bamaite FrenchieCat jumps in to save the day, but to no avail.
-
The lonestarnut was the one who on December 26, 2008 (I looked it up) said she hoped people starving could "hold out" until January 20, 2009, ostensibly when the Big Zero would feed them.

Wasn't she the same one that saw dead bodies in trees?

Yes.
-
The lonestarnut is also the one who, when her mother was taking care of a blind friend's guide dog, threatened to sue a restaurant when they weren't allowed to bring the dog inside. The law of course states that guide dogs are allowed IF with the owner, but not if the owner's not with it. The lonestarnut had a cow about that.

nadinbrzezinski is over Obama too :lmao:

cannot see. People feel betrayed. Hell I was at a coffee shop when this came though. and one person was watching on the puter, and started crying. Left to the car and took the bumper sticker off right there and then. I was like WOW!

Who here goes to 'coffee shops'? I don't drink coffee much (if at all). I don't see the attraction, but you'd think it was like standing in line to see Elvis Presley.

This is because Americans are going to be allowed more freedom?

It's really a frenzy on the island of misfits tonight. I tried counting the threads. Decided counting my pubes would be less of a challenge. :whatever: :rotf:
And is this lonestar gal one of the unterprimiteven, frank? I do not know of the other posts from this one that you speak.

I used to...but not the kind of coffee shop they're talkin about...More like the small town restaurant where the old dudes sit around and BS over coffee...

We had a couple of those places, but they closed shortly after Illinois passed the smoking ban. Those small diners were often more smoky than any bar I've been in.

I just call them "cafe's," Ree. Actually, we have one in town here called "The [insert town name here] Cafe."

There was one on the north end of Santa Cruz called the Tip Top Cafe. It was a genuine retro joint, probably there since the 40's. It had a horseshoe shaped counter. It was a landmark for decades, then it went out of business in the 80's. After it sat abandoned for a couple of years, it went up for sale. A friend and I took a look at it. They were asking a quarter million for it, which at the time seemed an outrageous price. I asked the realtor why so much. "Good will! It's the Tip Top!". I told her there is no good will for a business that has been defunct for three years. We walked away.

What got their panties in a wad tonight?
Was it the tax break extensions?

We have one here in the revitalized downtown. They serve Coffee and snotty high priced imported wine and beer. The $4 coffee is for the schlubs who can't afford an $8 beer or a $20 glass of wine. I really don't see how they stay open.

Yes indeed. You can't look down three threads in GD without seeing a thread or TWO on the very subject.

Would this be classified as a Reverse Bouncy?

bitchslapped for dissing coffee.

Watching it on the 'puter, and started crying? Really? Went out in a huff and took his bumper sticker off? Crying because rates are staying the same? You'd think it was another 9/11. I'm sick of these pansies and their constant crying. The memorable OffwiththeirHeads locking himself in the bathroom to bawl after piously donating a PB sandwich to a fictitious bum. DUmmies weeping at their keyboards while posting. "I'm crying uncontrollably as I type this."
Why would they think that a national wave of like-mindedness should be coming their way?
And no, I don't go to coffee shops. The prices are outrageous and I like my coffee at home. With a smoke.

Yeah, she is; she's one of the faceless primitives of no prominence.
As incredible as it might sound, the lonestarnut is too stupid to be a primitive.
Compared with her, Doug's stupid ex-wife is Marie Curie.
As incredible as it might sound.

Here they call them 'diners' -- there were a few Starbucks around but they've mostly gone under, at least in my area. WTH would you pay $5-6 for a cup of coffee when there are diners, where the refills are endless and free, and Wawas a-plenty where you can get any type of coffee or coffee drink for $1.50 or less, depending on the size of the cup?
AND . . . who bursts into tears watching a presser? Puh-leeze :bouncy:

LOL, our State is the Diner capital, and also you'll be shocked but we have no Wawa's in the Northern part of the State.

No kidding. I can sniff out a Wawa anywhere.

Yup! The coffee smell clings to you for at least half an hour after you've left the store :-)

I've never heard of Wawa's but since I'm in Illinois, I guess that's no surprise.

I've never heard of such a thing, either! What makes it so endearing?

Oh, I'm a complete coffee snob, but Starbucks over roasts their beans. That said, no restaurant (even those that have gourmet coffee) compares to the local baristas. Mostly I buy my own beans but frequenting the little "mom and pop" type coffee shops and drive thrus I figure can be justified as helping a local small business. It doesn't get much smaller than a mini shack with a coffee maker and a refrigerator.

Good coffee, great food, good selection of various convenient store items, gas, and cleaner than most 7-11's you walk into.
I loves me some Wawa, but I really wish they would start selling diesel fuel.

I thought WaWa was a slur word for WallyWorld :hammer:

I think it's the reality that they can't deal with. :lmao:

It's a Leni Lenape word for goose/geese. We are inundated with frigging Canadian geese that have renounced their previous citizenry and have taken up permanent residence in the mid-Atlantic states. And since the Indians have a word for them, it's been going on for centuries!
-

They're convenience stores, the 'super' Wawas have gas as well, but they're really more like a neighborhood hang-out. People usually have their favorite ones so you see the same people every morning getting coffee, etc, and bitching about an Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers game the night before. Usually the employees have been there a good while so they know the regulars and remember what type of breakfast sandwich or lunch hoagie you want made (they'll make them for you or there's pre-made if you're in a hurry). And, depending on the size of the store, 20-30 pots of coffee going at all times with the oldest being replaced with a new pot every 20 minutes -- not to mention all the different machines where you can get 'cinos, lattes, steamers, hot chocolate, etc. in any way/shape/combination you want. Lots more but I'm starting to feel like a commercial! :-)

The DUmmies claim to cry at damn near anything. Freaking immature babies. :loser:

Especially if said presser is to announce something that they don't like.

LOL, no Wawa.
We're tempted sometimes to be close to the Ocean, no way could we root for Philly teams though LOL.
Every once in awhile we pop on the internet to look at houses down there, but it would be so tempting being that close to AC.

They don't call it CharBucks for nothing. :-) However, they do this for a reason. Cheaper, lower quality beans can be easily disguised by roasting dark. Charbucks started out offering quality but discovered the way to significantly trim costs and still charge a premium. The coffee there is lower quality than what can be had at the grocery store and the libs buy it up!
Speaking of being a coffee snob. Started roasting my own at home 2 years ago and I am ruined for life. Started with a popcorn popper and now use a Behmor roaster and I will say that nothing compares to properly roasted, super fresh, single origin coffee!
Great place to get started doing this. Http://www.sweetmarias.com
