A tax cut compromise that we can all get behind?   Updated at 3:51 PM

After giving the current national debate about the so-called Bush Tax Cuts, specifically those geared toward the upper class, some more thought, I’ve decided that if the (upper-class) tax cuts are temporarily extended for, say, 1-2 years, then the compromise put forward by President Obama and Democrats should be that:

1.) Businesses need to be held accountable and demonstrate that they are utilizing the tax cuts during this time period to actually create jobs in order to receive any additional extensions. Any further extensions by Congress will be dependent on their ability to demonstrate at least some value of lowering tax rates for the upper class. After all, The Republicans are forever talking about the need to cut programs and stop spending money on programs that don’t work.

2.) Businesses need to commit to faithfully paying any past tax debts/arrears, as well as paying what they actually owe in taxes from here on out without resorting to any financial games or trickery such as keeping their money outside of the country. After all, doesn’t everybody need to pay their fair share in this day and age?

3.) Republicans need to be held accountable for proposing a plan- agreeable to everybody- to pay for the extension of tax cuts. After all, they demand that Democrats figure out how to pay for things all the time. Why should they be able to exempt themselves from this requirement and isn’t doing so demonstrating “fiscal responsibility”?

2. If we imposed mandatory hiring requirements upon businesses, I could get behind it

And they would have to be living wage jobs here in America.

Then I could get behind keeping their taxes down.

Hey great idea lets force all businesses to hire a bunch of people they can't afford too. The good news is that will add even more folks to the unemployment line and that should create a bunch of jobs there.  :banghead:

I left a message for him. See if he is nuanced enough to realize he is being mocked.

No, no tax cuts at all. I'm tired of the rich bastards getting more and more money. According to Representative Grayson, Rush Limbaugh will get an extra 2.5 million dollars this year.
We should seize all his money and assets and take care of the poor in this country.

I think they're probably going to have a very bad week.  And if they don't, I may be switching everything in my retirement fund from the S&P fund to the Fed securities funds before Noon EST on Friday.

1. What reality do they live in?
1.) Businesses need to be held accountable
2.) Businesses need to commit to faithfully
And the best for last
3.) Republicans need to be held accountable
And you need to get your head out of the sand and finally admit that you and the other DUmmies are,...WRONG!
Your good pal, Bwaney Fwank sent the ball rolling down to financial ruin. Why did banks offer loans to people that couldn't afford them?

Did anyone tell him that a fisheye lens is not going to enhance his already questionable looks?  Also, he should get some shampoo and take care of that greasy-assed mop on the top of his head.

Ugh!

Oh, BTW DUmbass, your idea is crap.

Who cares what a bunch of primitives can "get behind" when it comes to economic issues?  It has no bearing on reality, so you wasted the time it took for you to bang out that non-sense on the keyboard that could have been better utilized by you personally (that is with your own time and money and not through the gov't) helping someone who is poor.

This says it all, from a link;
The term "redlining" was coined in the late 1960s by John McKnight, a Northwestern University sociologist and community activist.
