Its amazing how so many here do not accept the fact that the Media is an arm of the GOP.

Yeah the media really was harsh on Obama before the 2008 election. Oh wait they pretty much drooled all over him.

How did the Republicans, allied with lame-duck Senator Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin), raise taxes on the middle class?

Probably because if taxes weren't raised on the rich, then the middle got the shaft.

Here it is, several hours later, and I'm still puzzling over it.
