Do you know anyone who will admit to voting for Bush/Cheney?
I know a lot of people who voted for that dufus ... twice. But recently I haven't been able to find one person who will come right out and say, "Yep, I voted for Bush/Cheney."
Reminds me of after Nixon almost ended up in Club Fed. You couldn't find one person who would admit voting for him. Even though he had just won an election by a landslide. I remember my mother went as far as not voting in the primaries any more after Nixon because she didn't want to have to "declare", she was a Republican. Even though she always had in the past. She must have thought everyone forgot?
Weird, huh?

Tell you what in a couple of years we will see just how many people admit to voting for Obama. That will be interesting to see.

2. go to any 55+ mobile home park and there are a lot of misinformed people
I don't declare democrat for primaries anymore because it gets you on jury duty - Have been called up three times
Yeah cuz we all know those people over 55 have no idea about anything. :mental:

Ohhh, Ohhh, pick me!! I know the answer to this one.
I did. I voted for Bush TWICE. While I wasn't overly impressed with the last 2 years on the job the first 6 were outstanding! I made way more money and had a better life. After we got a Democratically controlled congress ... meh, not so much.
On the other hand ..... out of the 6 people I know personally who voted for O'bama .... only one will admit it and the rest simply don't want to talk about it. Imagine that.

Hell. I see it already happening. But it's more along the line of "I can't believe I voted for that man." My liberal mom already admits it.
-
I won`t just admit it but will proudly announce it so suck on it DUmbasses.
-
franksolich never makes a secret, in real life, out of who he voted for.
When the subject comes up, franksolich always reminds that George Bush was the most principled president in his own lifetime.
Shove that up your rectal aperture and smoke it, Don.
-
I bet that in the next ten days I see more old Bush bumper stickers than I see Obama stickers.....and my area has 30+% blacks.....I guess they don't like his white half.

And he had class. I don't recall him blaming his problems on the media or other people.

I voted for Bush twice. Suck on it Dummies.

The DUmmies voted for Gore and Kerry twice. :-)

Proudly voted for them twice!

I voted for them twice, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Same here. :cheersmate:

I did and would again.
-
Compared to our choices last time, I'd gladly vote for them again.

Me too!

Hands down, no contest.
You could have voted for a seminary school flunkout, a nimrod that looked like Lurch Adams's dumber brother, or a real man (actually 2 men, since it was Bush/Cheney).
I vote "real" every time

Oh Hell yeah. At this point, it's more likely that people would lie and say they voted against Obama, than it is that they would deny voting for Bush. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to find out quite a few would probably lie to say they DID vote for Bush.

I think that thread was started by the DUmmies own insecurities. They probably feel bad for denying their messiah when they are out with normal people.

I voted for:
Nixon
Ford
Reagan
Reagan
Bush
Bush
Dole
Bush
Bush
McCain
I have never voted for a democrat at any level in any election.

Assuming they your claim to knowing "a lot of people who voted for [Bush] " isn't bullshit as we all know it is ; One would assume that your shrill bleating and constant foam flecked spittle shooting rants about has ensured that they're never going to bring up politics around you ever again.
I know that I *never* raise political topics with the few friends I have who are left of center. There's more important shit to discuss, like what fish are biting, where herds of game were spotted and the latest developments in hicknology.

Wise - it took me awhile to figure that out. Many more important things to discuss so your personal relationships remain intact. Especially if it's your family - not worth it - learned from experience.

Dito.

Was too young to vote for the '04 elections. My mind is foggy at the current time, but I do believe I voted Bush/Cheney in '08. Given the choices...if we had to do it all over again, and I was old enough to vote both times: HELL YES, I'd vote Bush/Cheney!! Especially if I knew what was coming beyond the pike.
However, hindsight is 20/20. :whatever:
