Title: Windows 7 upgrade disk
Post by: thundley4 on December 01, 2010, 12:03:43 PM
I'm thinking of getting the Family  (3) Upgrade pack, to upgrade an XP and a Vista computer.  Does anyone know if it could be used to do a clean install on a computer already running Win 7?

I have one computer running Win 7, and I burned the "back up disks" .  They don't allow for a complete formatting and reinstall.

I've heard that there's a way. Let me check into it.

That was one of the top results when I first googled about. I have an empty 450gb partition on this Win 7 computer and I'll try and install a fresh install on it tomorrow.
