I nailed a teabagger to the wall last night
we walked into this furniture store that's closing and having a big sale. The place was closing because their bank line of credit funding abruptly and completely stopped. Everyone is getting laid off in the chain. This white guy that works there and who was probably in his late 60's walks up and we expressed regret about their situation and especially his as the conversation turned to his age and getting laid off. He then says we've got to get "that guy" out of the WH and a couple of other comments that blamed Obama for his plight. He mentioned something about people not paying their mortgages and a couple of other slights. WRONG THING TO SAY TO THE WRONG PEOPLE! My wife was civil enough to just walk off because she didn't want to hear it. I couldn't let that go.

Speaking of people not paying mortgages, I asked the guy if he remembered the phrase "ownership society" and who used it. I asked him if he ever heard of NINJA loans (No income, No job, No assets). He said he did. I told him they were legal because Republicans made them legal. I told him that now that Democrats are fixing the abuses by banks and business banks have admitted they are not lending, and businesses are not hiring because they do not want things to improve so they can get Obama. Banks and businesses are intentionally hoarding their money. Republicans block everything because they don't want things to get better so now he's getting laid off. I told him this entire thing started long before Obama was even a US Senator and got rolling when Republicans had control of the WH, Congress and the SCOTUS. I told him that the whole teabagger movement is nothing but a tool for big banks, Wall Street and big corporations to block or undo everything Democrats were trying to fix so they can go back to what they were doing before. I told him the free market doesn't regulate itself. That's not only a fallacy, it's ideological propaganda and that everyone that voted for Republicans this year just gave the keys back to the party that drove the truck into the ditch. I told him the only thing free markets do is promote unfettered greed. I told him that it was also much easier to blame "that black guy" for everything and that none of this started Jan 20, 2009 that in fact, it was at it's peak then. I reminded him of 750K people laid off in January 2009 alone. I told him the whole country, and actually the whole civilized world owed Obama a thank you for saving capitalism and the world economy from complete collapse. I told him a few other choice things over the course of 10 minutes of laying into him. I told him I couldn't believe people were so stupid as to vote Republicans back in.

When I was finally through with him he actually said, "You're right." which is what I wanted to hear him say.

I HATE it when, just because we're white, other white teabaggers automatically assume we hate Obama too. Wrong thing for this guy to say to us. You might say I should have told the manager. But there's no reason to. He's putting himself out of a job anyway because he supports Republicans. But the manager of the place is a good family friend and a liberal. So I might tell him after the stores close and they're laid off. But I suspect everyone knows he's a winger anyway.

Don't f**k with me!

The real story is probably much more mundane..

His CC got declined and security booted his ass out of the store midway through him explaining at the top of his voice that it was all the fault of the Evil Bushneoconzionistjoooooooossss, because the spittle, and rancid stench were disturbing other paying customers.

11. Oh good. Yet another confrontation with a senior citizen. Why is it

that we never read of these confrontations that describe the other person as 'built like a linebacker', or 'a burly biker type with tattoos' but rather something like "...probably in his late 60's..."?

They seem to involve a lot of women in checkout lines, or old guys wearing the wrong tee shirt, or senior citizens in McDonald's.

:lmao:

While I sincerely doubt this ever took place, he hardly "nailed a teabagger to the wall".  Aside from having his facts wrong he thinks he's tough for talking that way to a 60 year old.

No Income Verification/Stated Income Loans have their roots in the Community Reinvestment Act signed by Carter in 1977 and pushed to what they eventually became in the last 10 years by Chris Dodd And Barney Frank.

Bouncy by the g-primitive, no doubt about that.  Like most primitives, he's scared of his own shadow.

...This white guy that works there...

Of course it is of the utmost importance to the DUmmie's story to point out that the alleged "teabagger" is white.

I have a bouncy.

My husband, daughter and I went to downtown Orange this past weekend. They have a totally cute old down town area that is full of antique and vintage clothes shops. We decided to eat at a BBQ place. This older couple and a friend were sitting next to us. They were talking about the Nov. 2nd election and how wonderful it was but how crappy it was for CA., also said a few things about Obama that weren't so nice.

This was probably the first time I have ever overheard someone discussing politics.  The guy volunteers at the Nixon library by the way, I feel like a stalker.  I said nothing but I smiled inside.

DO NOT forget Clinton had Reno threaten the banks with federal lawsuits if they did not increase their ratio of bad loans to minorities. Also Clinton regime Coumo raised the bar ten times to push bad loans.

Basically the DUchebags entire made up speech is 100% WRONG.

Zero Bong.

It would be funny if they confront a not so young muscular white dude like myself. :-)

27. Hah...I knew even before reading the text...

in the OP that it would probably involve a verbal beat-down of an old person.

And I've written pretty much the same you have about how we never see anyone saying they confronted a big motorcycle riding guy or someone who could actually kick their ass...

never a reply.

Only post after post from others saying how great it is to confront an elderly person.

36. That's not the point, really

The point is that nearly every story about how someone "confronted a Teabagger" involves confrontation with a person over the age of 60.

Or a younger woman with a kid or two in tow but no 6' 2" husband or boyfriend with her.

I'm not going to let go of my cynicism unless and until someone comes in here with a (TRUE) story of how they confronted a whole motorcycle gang or maybe even their BOSS.

There's one...how come we never see where people have confronted their teabagger bosses? Or is the economy so great that people can basically pick and choose the political leanings of the bosses they work for?

I want to hear about how someone confronted their 40-something boss in the same rude manner they would confront a 60-something Joe Blow in McDonalds and still managed to keep his job.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think we should hold our collective breaths here...Confrontations..."nailing teabaggers to the wall"...only really works when it's done to someone who can't retaliate with something really nasty.

Today he'll turn on Fox "News" and he'll listen to a few hours of Limbaugh's show, and then he'll be totally convinced again that everything wrong is Obama's and the Democrats' fault. It will be as if his encounter with you had never taken place.

And of course it didn't, DUmmy.

Of course it is of the utmost importance to the DUmmie's story to point out that the alleged "teabagger" is white.

You'd think they wouldn't feel the need to mention it since all teabaggers are white. NO ONE hoping to make a sale is going to start talking politics, NO ONE. Even if the DUmmie had brought the topic up the salesperson would have remained neutral and steered the topic back to the furniture. I think we need to host a creative bouncy class. They're just not very entertaining anymore.

57. I'll tell you the same thing... I'm getting into my late 50's, but I can bench press 200 lbs
and can do more than I could when I was in my late 20's. My wife says I look at a cop and that I do intimidate guys. I guess I might, but that still has nothing to do with the facts. Maybe I did intimidate the guy. Frankly, I hope so. If so, he found out liberals aren't as stereotype. I have some good union building trade friends that would scare the crap out of anyone.

He's such a f***ing douchebag.

58. Hah...and that right there is another point....
I doubt very much that it's about changing someone's mind.

Really it's more about being an obnoxious asshole to someone who might be too shocked, or too polite, to be an obnoxious asshole right back.

The whole "looked at his shoes and said 'you're right.'"  Come on, that's a bit thick even for a bouncy.

Still, you have the gullible:

Gee, one of the largest scams going is furniture stores "Going Out Of Business" If you watch the majority of them seem to get along just fine for many months while the "liquidate". Then they close, change the signage or location and reopen.

Oh please let me play this game, Evil.

A no shitter story here.

I was standing in line at the grocery store when the dude with 6 pack abs behind was talking to his friend about politics.  He ,big and strong was so into the conversation that he bumped his cart into my butt almost knocking me off my feet.  I an old woman darn near hit the floor.--I turned and gave him the Evil eye but said nothing.

He took offence to my look and called me an old Tea Bagger and laughed.     I at this point took my oak wood cane and belted him over the head.

Store security showed up as did the police. someone had to mop up the blood from the gash in his head.

I insisted the big galloot be arested for slander and hate speech.

Next day in court I explained to the judge that I was not a homosexual, and in fact a woman.-----I know what tea bagging is in the homosexual comunity and I could prove I am a woman.   How dare this big thug accuse me of being a pervert.

Civil court was next I walked out with a $10,00 settlement ------
  Hows that for a bouncy????
