First saw this on FNC's site, and then my local NBC site. I would have figured the last thing a kid would want to do was keep himself, and other students IN school.
Well...hopefully, there are no injuries, or anything. There are no other updates as of yet. I'm constantly checking.

I hope this child let's all the student's & faculty go, unharmed. I'd love to know his reason for holding everyone hostage. Pathetic.

I'm betting that it has something to do with bullying or that liberal sense of self importance that is instilled in kids.

Maybe his tuition is too high :whatever:

Good.
GOOD, where is your mind Chris..??
This is a child that for what ever reason terrorised his school. It is said that the kids he took hostage spent time talking with him , he harmed no one.
He then harmed himself a 15 year old boy, this is a sad story not one to feel good about.
Had the boy actually shot anyone then he would be much like a mad dog.----
This boy however is not a killer, not a crazy--- confused and nuts yes but not a monster.
Plenty of monsters at age 15 but this kid needs to be be checked out by Medical people, --Sad--not Good.

Wis. students chatted with gunman to keep him calm

MARINETTE, Wis. (AP) - Trapped in their classroom with a student gunman, a group of terrified Wisconsin high schoolers worked desperately to keep their captor calm by chatting and laughing with him about hunting and fishing.
The 15-year-old gunman eventually shot himself as police stormed the room at Marinette High School hours later Monday evening, but his 23 hostages emerged unharmed. Student hostage Zach Campbell said the gunman seemed depressed, but he didn't think he meant them his classmates any harm.

No, it's GOOD.
Any stupid ****ing idiot who goes into a school and holds INNOCENT people hostage, in fear of their lives, doesn't deserve to be breathing the same air as us.
Stop treating this dumb ass like some kind of ****ing victim. He's not a victim. He was probably some entitled brat who thought everyone owed him something.
How would you feel if someone barged into your home/work/school/store and held YOU hostage? If you were in a store with me, Vesta, you wouldn't have to worry... because I'd kill that jackass myself. And you could start your whole little rant on me for KILLING a threat... but, hey, at least YOU would still be alive.

Your are right it is not GOOD, IT IS REAL GOOD! If he hadn't shot himself at some point he may have killed his family THEN himself, would you want that Vesta? :fuelfire:

I'm so sick of people who want to commit suicide and take others down with them. If you hate yourself that much, just shoot yourself in your f-ing bathroom or something. Play in traffic or jump off a bridge.

I've heard about that, but haven't read any stories yet. It always bothers me when children are involved. I had enough of the Caylee Anthony case. And now some stupid grandma who THREW her granddaughter to her death at a mall. -sigh-
People are f-ing sick.

Evil if I were at a mall and a 3 year old or a 90 year old got ahold of a gun, I would duck and cover. Don't matter the age, if you are shot most likely you may die.
I do on occasion carry with a permit, but the important thing is to know when to use the gun and when a ball bat will stop someone. In the case of a mall, I would hope for the best and hide as a rickershay could kill an innocent by stander. Only if I could not hide or a knife were held to my chest would I consider taking a life .
Carrying is a tremendous responsibility for the person with a lethal weapon. Everything possible must be used first from throwing your shoes at the threat to stabbing them with an ink pen.
In case of a home invasion, or being grabbed in a parking lot, that is different. Got to get my mind set that the Perps are just targets at the shooting range and I could go ahead full blast..
iN THE CASE WHEN SAY THE Perp has allready killed someone and was going after someone else, depending on the people that are in the area, that is another story. I have no idea what my reaction would be in that case, I cannot imagine living out my life knowing I had killed anyone by any means, for any reason but self survival.
We react differently Evil as I am sure you know. When out of the blue people are surprised by an attack, some fight for their lives and others are so stunned they follow the orders of the attacker not wanting to get him or them even more upset. They do not fight for the reason that they feel it will make matters worse for them or family.
Rape comes to mind and how the advice for survival has changed back and forth through the years. Tricky this one.
If a women submits to the rape some courts will free the rapist as there is no signs of the victim being forced.
If a woman fights, She may end up a DOA in the city morgue.
Nothing is black or white here, in the case of the 15 year old who held people hostage, had a teacher been armed and shot him, that teacher would be in deep dodo when the boys family and a slick lawyer go them raked over the coals. A liberal court would point out that the boy had not harmed anyone and the kids he held hostage would have testified that the boy laughed and joked with them. He was a threat but NOT a direct threat and the Phyco-babble of doctors would come in and make a mess of things.
You know how Lawyers are, did the teacher know for a fact the gun was loaded, sure the boy shot into a wall but how did the teacher know the boy had more then one bullet in the gun.
Evil it seems that as we go along minding our business and are attacked and fight back, we the victims are the ones sued and behind a rock and a hard place. All kinds of weird shit comes oozing out of the closet in times when the Perps have Liberal courts.

That it is.
That is why I would NOT run and hide like a ***** if I had a gun and another person was putting a whole lot of lives in danger. I'd stand right there, pull out my weapon, and fire my gun until the threat was no longer standing. I'm not using my freaking SHOE has a weapon if I have a gun. Nor would I use a pen, as it would require me to get very close to the threat. You're not going to stop someone from doing harm to others with a pen or a shoe. You can go ahead and try that, but you will only end up angering the suspect even more and probably end up getting yourself killed.

Too bad. SUE ME! At least I'm still alive and able to go home to my family every night. You think cops don't get sued when they shoot a suspect?
