Is there a way to get the computer and printer to print out an entire thread from somewhere?
It's not only this computer and printer here; I've also tried at the superduper state-of-the-art heavy duty computers at the local library, and what happens is that one gets bits and pieces, never more than a fraction of a thread, to print.

Probably the BEST way is to copy & paste the thread into notepad or some program similar to Microsoft Word and THEN print it out. Usually, if one goes to print out a thread, it will only print one page at a time, as far as I know.

BTW, where is said thread?? It appears that if you print out one from here, you SHOULD get the entire thread as long as you select: "Print ALL pages" at the print prompt.

I've never seen that option, but of course I haven't seen all.
I'll look for it and try it, and get back later today.

If you go to the File tab at the top of the screen, and then choose Print Preview - then you can print all the pages. Hope that works for ya.

Thank you; I just checked it out.
I think however it's hopeless. Because what I want to print out is from conservativecave, I want it to look nice and professional and with all colors and icons intact.

Here's a screenprint. For color, I'd think a color printer is necessary.

Really ? I'd never have guessed that.

Thank you, JLO, madam, but there's not the nice blue background.
If I'm going to show off conservativecave to someone in real life, ink on paper, I want it to look nice.
But I give up.

Sorry - I don't think there is a way.
(Ya know, I forgot the smiley when I mentioned the color printer :thatsright:)

you could save the entire page as a single file (File --> Save As --> Web Archive/Single File). You can print those out and they should look just like what you see on the monitor. Sometimes it drops little things like avatars and icons, but it's pretty foolproof. I use it for archiving really disgusting DUmmy threads.
