Thanks for every thing that you two did to offer hope to some of us who lately have felt like giving up.

May your holiday be joyous, and your ambition, tempered with clarity, be great.

And hope to see you both around a lot during the Season of summer and fall 2012.

(I keep thinking "In politics, things can change quickly. JFK was not even a glimmer in the eye of the most progressive Democrats back in 1958.")

I especially want to thank the people in Grayson's district for undoing a mistake from 2 years ago.

Uh, wasn't Kennedy considered for Adlai Stevenson's running mate in 1956?

And weren't most of the "progressive Democrats" in 1960 supporting Adlai Stevenson for a third run at the presidency?

The primitives really need to learn some history.
