10. makes me sick
to think that some people have this kind of money to just waste on things just because they want them.
This money would be much better used for other purposes.
I firmly believe that all income should be 100% taxed and then distributed evenly to everyone.

11. I don't believe you are serious.
Noody in his or her right mind or who knows anything at all about economics would sincerely propose such a crazy idea.
The funny part is that is not far off from what many of you advocate.

Yes, a 90% tax is way more reasonable.
:hammer:

Hell one goon proposed 120% after a certain income level.

I have so much money, I like to wipe my ass with it.

I thought DUmmies cared about history, museums, art, and shit. Come on, it's the FIRST APPLE COMPUTER. You might as well turn in your iPods, you soulless bastards.
I guess they'd rather have someone poop on a canvas and demand the NEA pay for it instead. DUmmies are all about telling someone else how to spend their moolah.

To the DU, I was listening to John Batchelor and his guest Larry Kudlow and someone else while folding laundry, Larry and the other guest said that the tax cuts will be extended for a couple of more years, 23 Democrats are up for re-election in 2 years in the Senate and no way will they jeopardize the economy, also Chuck Schumer is grandstanding with his proposal of keeping the tax cuts for those making under 1 million dollars because he knows it will hurt his constituents more than any other State, so he'll fold. Also interesting was Batchelor saying his sources are saying Obama just wants to extend it for those under $250,000 and it's not pressure from the progressives that are causing him to feel like that, he actually believes it, like we didn't know that.

Uh oh. Look who decided to weigh in on the discussion.

Seriously, I think even with no tax hikes it is too late for the economy to come back in two years. Smart money has already made their mid-term bets and they had to go with Obama (I'm not an ideologue) being Obama. Besides to hire a new employee costs so much more thn it did two years ago.
1. Mandated health care minimums.
2. Unemployment Insurance is 1-200% more now. (Someone had to pay for the FUNemployment of 99 weeks).
3. Executiv...err ahh umm Empirical regulations from the EPA will hike energy prices.
4. Inflation is already here. Food, gas, all energy is way up. Just because a big screen is half the cost doesn't mean it isn't
5. Even with the red wave it will take 4 times longer to undo the damage of the last 20 months.
6. A republican congress is not going to bail out the super blue state and they will have to cut public employees.
7. POTUS will still be playing for anybody but the USA.
8. The nationalizations of the last 20 months are going to be showing the natural inefficiencies of government control.
9. Obama is not inspiring to the productive people, only to the leeches and leeches do not a prosperous country make.
10 The MSM is being forced to report a slightly less rosey reality about Dear Leader, see NO. 9.
I could keep going on but things are not going to change until the smartest president in the history of the universe is out of the WH...and then it will take at least two years to start chipping away at real unemployment.
Sad but true.

Yeah I agree. The employers are going to hold onto what cash they've got and see just how much the Republicans are able to accomplish in the next couple years. If they can get some of the spending down and at least start the ball rolling to repeal Obamacare then they might start injecting money back into the economy...byt I'd bet they won't until after the 2012 election.

Of course you do! You probably never worked a day in your life, so you want other people's money. You and the lord zero have the same mentality of redistribution of wealth. That's how the mentally ill operate. It's called liberalism. A severe case of mental disorder.
