Title: NJ High School football championship dates set
Post by: njpines on November 23, 2010, 12:27:15 PM
Our son's team is back this year, defending their title.  (He's a freshman though -- their season was over last week. They were undefeated!)

NON-PUBLIC GROUP 1 & 2:

St. Mary (Rutherford). vs. St. Joseph (Hammonton), Rutgers, 5 p.m.

The big public school finals are being played at the "new" Meadowlands but since I'd like to actually SEE the game, Rutgers will be just fine!

It's been a FUN season -- I've really missed high school football games!

Bah. Yankee football. Send 'em down to Texas and see how they do against my mighty Euless Trinity Trojans. We've already mopped the field in the Herbstreit Classic the last three years with the best that LA, AR, and UT had to offer.  :-)

We won the big crosstown rivalry yesterday!

The St. Joe kids are tough; it's a small school with an equally small football team. The kids all play offense and defense and most of the starters are on special teams as well.
