What do you drive?
I've currently got three: a 2001 Ram 1500 for heavy hauling (like helping my friends move and towing when other cars break down), a 1984 Town Car limo as my project car (it gets driven a grand total of about 1000 miles a year; and that's usually just for special occasions) and a 1995 Camry that I'm working on converting to an electric motor.
I'm also wondering if TIT just showed back up, if this guy starts on about his super secret green beenie days with the Army Aircorp I guess we'll know. :lmao:

with an all-steel Indian sidecar.
The Most Treacherous Vehicle in the World.
Also, Ford Formula (kind of a charity deal).
Bon Voyage...

Otherwise known in my house as the "riff raff garbage that will eventually end up on Craigslist that I will have to trudge through to find the good, clean decent cars that good, clean, decent people are selling."

Quite a few foreign cars in that thread.......The UAW will not be pleased! :-)

Crap. Not a good day. I agree with the DUmmie.

They didn't drop it dipshit! they were selling it to Roger Penske and he decided he didn't want to be in bed with "Government Motors"and the UAW! See he wanted to do this really evil thing with Saturn.....make a profit! ::)

I know, and I agree. I had such high hopes for Penske. It just makes me sad. :bawl:
eta: I have two Saturns in my driveway, one of which I have had for 10 years. When they die, I don't know what I will buy, but I can guarandamnteeya it will not be a GM anything.

GM was going to discontinue the line, but Penske wanted to buy it and things didn't work out. GM screwed Saturn when they let the union into the Saturn plants.

I know, right? I thought the DUmmies and bleeding heart liberals were all environmentalists and care for the environment. Where's your globull warming spirit Dummies? :fuelfire:

So where is Pammy bragging about the wheels she takes to the charity food pantry?
-
Still driving the 98 Durango, 180k miles and running fine, will drive it until the wheels fall off.
Still have the 67 Porsche 912 wrapped up in the barn too. It hasn't run since about 2003, awaiting the day when I can build a garage with a slab floor to rebuild it properly.

I could never buy a car called a "leaf". It sounds like sissy car. My goats eat leaves.

My "new" car is a 2002 Jeep Cherokee I bought in 2004. It has 91,000 miles.
My "working" car is a 1980 Chevy Malibu that has been converted to a right-hand drive for mail delivery. 266,000 miles.
My daily driver is a 1993 Buick Century I've had for a 2 years now. 207,000 miles. Also serves as the Malibu's back-up, like last week, when the Malibu's LF upper control arm BROKE!
I have a 1988 Ford F-250 Diesel with 225,000 miles on it. It's my wood gathering, load hauling, trailer towing, all around favorite ride! It's also the only manual tranny in the bunch. :II:
I have a 1995 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4X4 I'm fixing up for wintertime mail delivery. 235,000 miles.
All look a little rough (except the Jeep, that's "the boss' ride"), all are paid for, all run like Swiss watches, all perform very well at any and every task I use them for. Three of them I got for free, another one I paid less than $1,000.

I drive a clunker and I'm proud of it.

Same here, in gigantic quantities.
I like to further state that I am the proud owner of 5 government certified gas-guzzlers.

Feast your unworthy eyes on this, DUmmies; one of the toys of a greedy capitalist. Original paint, 60K miles:

Whirring noises come free with the ride:

The supercharger really does the gas mileage in. I manage about 17-18mpg with my driving style.

AAAHHHHHH!!!! :censored: :banghead:
(is jealous) :( :bawl:
Is that a Moss supercharger? You bastard.
Edit: heh, you got the one with three wipers :ha:
-
Yup.
Everybody makes fun of my three wipers. I can deal with it. :-)
I took this last year, my first attempt at Youtubing a video:

The streets were wet, so I had hardly any traction.

To the government, both of our cars are clunkers.
2000 Jaguar S-Type
2004 Pontiac GTO
I think they are considered clunkers because we average about 20 MPG on the highway.

If getting 20 MPH is considered a "clunker", my truck should be killed! :lmao: :o
I get about 12-15 MPH. If I'm lucky.

We can make our cars drop down to 15 MPG if we slam the pedal to the medal.... all the way home. ;)
-
I'm lucky to get 20 what with my busted exhaust and other non-working bits and pieces. The 5-speed got roughly 20mpg or more, but I wasn't really counting.
-
I think I'll buy one of these and use it as my daily driver: http://hooniverse.com/2010/11/18/hooniverse-truck-thursday-a-classic-mack-b-model/

I've been having some financial issues - I'm still stuck with this:

This is what I'm driving. :thatsright:
It can take our winters, it has a sunroof and a great A/C for the summer, I love the sound system and it's a super reliable car. i'm so boring.

Nah, it's all about the Cozy Coupe. I heard they were testing these on the American version of Top Gear.

Marx? Really?
I bought it from the co-op for five dollars...I can't be insolvent, poor, homeless, mentally ill, and 24/7 high on (cough, couch, medical, cough) marijuana without making sacrifices! :-)
Besides, the co-op was running a special - buy a Big Wheel for five and get a 12-pack of tofu dogs for free!

Guess my 1977 Grand Wagoneer with it's 35" tires and modified 401 would fit right in with the primitives. I get about 8 gallons to the mile!

Well I'm not able to drive yet...so we're not in a hurry..I'm just kinda waitin to see if a "deal" falls into my lap... :-)
We'll prolly get an RV first(I get real sick of motel rooms)

Believe it, since the Chinese own 18% of GM now.

Nothing like your own bathroom on the road Ree. Got a new rig and rented but now want to get a toad. Mama Zeit put her foot down and said one of my toys had to go, she would not have that many vehicles. I am getting rid of my roadster. Getting a G6 convertible which can be towed four down.

I have a 2001 Pontiac Montana with just under 160K on it. It has a blown engine computer, and will never pass inspection again. It still drives fine, its just no longer emissions friendly. So, its going away late next spring ( sticker runs out end of June)
The missus has a 1997 Lesbaru Impreza Outback Sport. It looks a lot like this one..

This little bastard can haul ass too. Unlike the Montana, this car is in perfect working order, though it could use a new rug, and a better stereo.
