Mr President, the people will stand behind you...
when you stand behind them.
When you realize and state clearly that the Social Security did not create one penny of this deficit, then the people will be behind you.
When you realize that the people are sick of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and you do not gain anything politically from continuing them, the people will be behind you.
When you realize that the Republicans want to destroy you and have no intention of working with you in a "bi-partisan" way, the people will be behind you.
When you stand up to the rich and powerful, the people will be behind you.
When you come forward and tell the truth, clearly and without doubt, the people will stand behind you.
When you realize that extending taxcuts for millionaires is not the middle class, then the people will stand behind you.
When you realize that the people who voted for you did not want incremental change of the Bush policies, they wanted them thrown out completely, then the people will stand behind you.
Mr President, you are no longer a Senator. You don't have to look for compromise at every turn. You can demand, with threat of a veto, that the House and Senate act in the people's behalf. Speak softly but carry a big stick. The people are still behind you if you do not lose them by compromising away their interests.

They are so delusional.
No one wants what Obama is selling. That was proven on Nov 2,2010.

I love the way the DUchebags and the rest of the hard left believe that NOvember 2nd was about dear leader and the donk congress not being hard enough to the left.
However, after reading that our troops are going out on combat patrols and sentry without loaded weapons, I am for getting all or our people out of theater. Like Rush says, Obama is the least competent, least experienced man in any room he enters.

More and more, I find kentuck's false sense of his own profundity most entertaining. :lmao:

You stupid, stupid DUmmie. Be careful what you ask for here. Your dictator may rise one day and control us all. :bird: :censored:
And for the record, I am not behind the imposter at all. I don't even recognize him as my president. How's that?!

And the republicans will be sipping on slurpees.

I personally would'nt trust him standing behind me. :gay:

How the hell could I have forgotten about the slurpees?!?!?!?

OK, my curiosity is piqued. What is the deal with slurpees?
And for the record, he's not my president either. Maybe if he hadn't done his USA bashathon these past 2 years. But, he is the product of the "Rev." Wright's Wrong School of Theological Bullshit.

Yeah--I want to know, too. (He ain't my president, either.)
-
the people will stand behind you...well ain't that the usual position for back stabbing?
You know the DUmmies will stab him in the back when they finally realize he ain't coming thru on the free pony promise.
-
Yeah--I want to know, too. (He ain't my president, either.)
Another stupid term of endearment from BO, like his driving-a-car analogy. Apparently, Republicans are on a terminal coffee break, drinking our Slurpees and telling the Dems how to run things (and something about a mop).

Our problem is we just do not have the soooooper intelligence needed to get Obama's analogies. We will never see his college records, NEVER.

Despite Kentuck's cockeyed inversion of the Fuehrerprinzip, te fact is the people do what they see as good for themselves and generally have personal loyalty about a millimeter deep to any elected leader. Contrary to Progressive thought, 'Good for themselves' or 'Best interests' does not necessarily mean just the pure economics of going all in for whoever is going to get them the most gubmint money, cheese, or unicorns, though.

Well, it made 7-11 happy for sure!
