My husband received a call from an unknown number and they left a message about a job fair.
It made me think that these job fair people should be calling EVERYONE who is currently receiving unemployment benefits. The phone calls should take place monthly. And if you miss two consecutive job fairs, you lose your benefits.
Oh, and you can't opt out from receiving the calls either. If you don't have a phone (yeah right, who doesn't?), then you will receive mailings for the job fairs.
Too harsh? I know it would require people to get off their butts, dress nicely, and submit resumes.

Not a bad idea.
Maybe some of them could be the ones making the phone calls.
