Title: Political signs 10 days later.
Post by: JohnnyReb on November 12, 2010, 09:06:29 AM
The Tea Party and the Republican Party both sent me e-mails about taking up any political signs I had put up. They wanted them up the day after the election. They had 2 sites you could drop the signs so they could be recycled and used again next time.

Well the day after the election, republican signs were swiftly disappearing and by E day +2 they were gone. The democrat signs remained up for a week with only a few being taken down in a weeks times. Yesterday afternoon when I went to town to pick up son from school, I noticed the road side was pretty clean. Then I saw why. There were some state workers and a state highway dump truck pulling them up. Over on another county road I saw county workers pulling them up and throwing them in a pickup truck.

Waiting on government to do it and being trashy must be a democrat way of life.

Some of the union halls still have signs on their property.

Cities/towns usually have sign ordinances in which political campaigns are fined for each sign they leave up after a certain date.

I don't know how to break it to you Reb, but the County workers are their crew for picking up and recycling the Democrat signs for the next shot at it.

Really, you're not telling me anything I didn't already know.

I'll tell you something else. Before the election, state DOT was pulling up any republican signs on state right-of-ways and leaving the democrat ones. People notice stuff like that and remember it next election....I hope the dims keep it up.... :-)

10 days here in NH, IIRC.
