The assassination of FDR

That's what is about to happen. Social Security, Unemployment benefits, & workers rights are about to be flushed because there will be no austerity measures for the rich & connected, or the military. And this is theft. This will be the biggest theft in the history of the planet. We have worked and bought into these programs. They are owned by us. They were the best investments some of us ever made. In our lives, most of us have never not contributed to these insurance policies.

So the Wall streeters and the investment bankers and inheritance babies will get their taxes reduced by stealing our insurance policies.

I finally understand how Hitler succeeded in convincing a populace into crazy schemes. And we have just as crazy a populace.

1. When the people of a country are most vulnerable economically

it very easy to have a Dictatorial Ideological Takeover.

The canaries are stirring about. Chirp Chirp Chirp

I can't decide which is dumber:

A) the distortion that the just concluded election constitutes dictatorship wherein even the economically vulnerable are free to participate

B) the canary in the coal mine metaphor is so horribly misapplied because a chirping canary means there is no toxic gas present. It's when they stop chirping that you have issues.

And we're supposed to be the stupid, uneducated ones.

Then you are truly a ****ing idiot.  Entitlements only last as long as there are more pulling the cart than are in it, DUmbass.

I highly doubt you are smart enough to read and learn from actual history.  And judging from this post, I'm right.

Ya know what the best part of this is?  Erskine Bowles was a co-chair.  A Clintonite.  It's Dem and Republican.

They're all atwitter over a preliminary list of ideas from an unelected committee...throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks.  What is their problem?  It's not law, it's not a deal, it's not binding, it's nothing.

Who has that one animated cartoon of the guy running around in circles, I think he has a DU shirt on?  There's a sign there that says "Stop running around like a fag."  That's what it puts me in mind of.

:lmao: Funny you should mention him. When he was running for the senate(?), he was telling people how he was going to save the textile jobs that were being shipped out of the country. The whole time his wife (head of the large Springs textile business) was buying up small mills in the 2 carolinas and moving there equipment along with the Springs Mills equipment to Brazil...

Liberal lie, they always lie.

You would welcome that, would you OHdem?! You would love a dictator controlling your nation/your life. What pleasure do you idiots get from someone else "controlling" you?! Such a warped version of life. :banghead:

They lose responsibility for their actions, according to them.

Did you mean "accountability" instead of "responsibility"?

Did you mean "accountability" instead of "responsibility"?

Not "instead of," but "also," upon further reflection.
