The 44-year-old Rubidoux parolee arrested last night on suspicion of murdering a Riverside policeman is being held without the possibility of bail and could be charged with offenses that would pave the way for the death penalty, jail records show.

Riverside County court records reveal that a man with Earl Green's name and date of birth has a record of at least 13 cases stretching back to at least October 1990, when he pleaded guilty to two felonies: receiving stolen property and battery on a police officer and was sentenced to one year and four months.

The dead police officer was a Veteran.

The death penalty sounds like a good call to me. What a scumbag. How many times can these people be released into society before they start killing people like in the above post?! It's sickening. :argh:

Eddie Green said he had sought a court order to prevent Earl Green from coming around the family's heavy equipment rental and auto repair businesses on Rubidoux Boulevard because of the missing skip loader, but a judge would not grant it. When Earl Green learned of the attempt, Eddie Green said, he drove to Eddie's home and demanded that the two drive somewhere and talk about it.

After the Revolution Restoration, teams of volunteers should go through the prisons emptying "death rows" and bringing "life without parole" sentences to completion.

The slain officer's father simply stated, "I want justice."

Sorry, sir--it's California.  You get none.  One more reason I left and never looked back.
