My 10 Commandments Updated at 1:05 AM
I believe:
I.....Socialism is not automatically evil, and Capitalism is not automatically good.
II....Corporations are not people, and their interests are inherently anti-humanist.
III...Talking louder than someone else does not automatically make you right.
IV...For every one extremely wealthy person, there are thousands of poor people.
V....Not every coincidence is a coincidence.
VI...Deregulation only puts trust in people who are not trustworthy.
VII..Taxes are the price for living in a civilized society.
VIII.It is necessary to support free speech you do not necessarily agree with.
IX...Marriage should be restricted…to humans.
X....No form of welfare or social service should be privatized.
Agree or disagree?

What caught my eye was this one,
VIII.It is necessary to support free speech you do not necessarily agree with.
This from the people who actively try to silence us on a daily basis.

Free speech for thee is by degrees. One degree past top dead center and your free speech is cut off.

Leave it to the DUmmies to make a mockery of yet anouther foundation/pillar of what has made this country what it is.

Response to 7. Hope you don't mind but I modified your list.
I........Socialism is fine until you run out of other peoples money.
II.......Corporations are made up of people, and their interests are to make money which humans need in order to survive.
III..... Talking louder than someone else does not automatically make you right, which is why Keith Olbermann should shut up!
IV..... For every extremely wealthy person, there are thousands of people who want to sit on their ass and claim how unfair life is.
VI..... Government regulation only puts trust in people who are not trustworthy
VIII... It is necessary to support free speech you do not necessarily agree with. (Which is why I Wrote This)
IX..... Marriage should be restricted…to humans, following the original definition of marriage.
X...... No form of welfare or social service should be government sponsored since any and all forms of this run counter to the constitution.
"Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it."

I have an office pool comprised of 12 people who have each bet on how long my post will
remain before getting deleted. I have a chance to win $110 if my guess is correct.
Lol won't last long

It's still there, but not for long. Thanks for capturing it, Lars, and I hope the guy wins his pool.

Just shows how quickly DUmmies box themselves in.
Make a post bragging about defending free speech and then be faced with having to do it. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So much for the defense of free speech.

:ohnoes:
They're already violating their commandments!!!!

Commandments are for other people.
HI5 Lars for the lightening quick screen capture.

When I read the thread title, I thought at first you were talking about this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Lunas_Decalogue_Stone).

I am somewhat shocked that they messed up the definition of a simple word like "commandment." Those might be 10 tenets, but they certainly aren't commandments.

Hey, they can count all the way to 10...even in Roman!! Don't confuse them with meanings of long words!! :rotf: :rotf:
