The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly done this week what everyone expected them to do: Fire Wade Phillips. Bill Jones of CBS-11 in Dallas reports the Cowboys head coach was fired on Monday after his team suffered a humiliating 45-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday Night Football. ...

Just heard on ESPN.

Haven't watched ESPN all day, but thanks for the news. I'll be watching the NFL Live replay tonight though. I saw several dejected looks from Wade all throughout last night, and even though I LOVE my Packers, I always liked Wade, and the 'Boys. I feel a bit sorry for the guy. The fault in Dallas cannot solely be placed on Mr. Phillips.
Though I guess something needed to be done. And sadly, THAT may not help.

I guess when it comes down to it, JJ can't/won't fire himself. They've just traded one inept coach for another.

The Cowboys are doing pretty badly this season.

That last game's point spread kinda says it all, doesn't it. 1-7, and I don't expect them to put up much of a fight against Big Blue this Sunday. :(

Especially with Tony Romo out.
JFTR, I'm a Jets' and Steelers' fan. No Giants. :puke:
