WTF happened to the east and southeastern portion of Utah? Are those people asleep?
There certainly isn't much out that way to keep 'em awake....
Drive route 89 from Kanab to Page, AZ sometime. They shot a lot of western films out that way because there's so little infrastructure (power lines, airline contrails, roads, double-wides, etc.)

Look at all that blue on the wrong side of the San Andreas Fault....
Who's got the keys to the VRWC Earthquake machine this week?

While the map is interesting, I thought this was going to be a picture thread of Dutch, pre and post op.

May I suggest that there are quite a few, uh, families in that area who depend on taxpayer-funded, social programs? And the area business owners depend on the, uh, families having the means to support them.

Are you talking about the fundamentalist LDS church? The one in Hildale, UT and Colorado City, AZ? Kinda hard to support that argument as there are less than 2,000 in Hildale.
It's a remote area down in that part of Utah. And out where the 4 corners are, it's even more remote.
Eastern Utah has a healthy dose of mainstream LDS, but they generally sway to the right - not the left.
'Tis a puzzler....

Dems are still pretty prevalent in UT politics, although they're more moderate than the Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi moonbat wing. I dare say a UT Democrat is more conservative than a New England Republican.

I lived in Utah from 2000 to 2004. That state was redder 'n hell, even in the east.
Now, Jim Matheson of the Utah 2nd district is a Dem and he's been reelected ever since 2000, and I'll go with you on him being a moderate Dem, but he's still a Dem.
The biggest percentage of Dems are found in the Salt Lake valley - not out in the east. Or, at least it was till recently....
-
Well, a lot of the SLC Dem influx is from the CA moonbats as well. Look no further than that idiot mayor they had a few years back.
-
I'm not related to him.

By post op, you meant when I was done with your mother.

As long as you reburied her afterwards.

Sure.
If it helps you sleep better to think so.

You have to admit, Dutch - it does make for a rather gritty situation.

Why--cause of all the Army pukes got all that sand in their vaginas?

Well, with all that digging going on there is a bit of a problem with basic cleanliness. A pressure washer usually fixes it, however. You have to turn the pressure down to about 7 lbs when doing the nether regions - rotting flesh doesn't generally stand up against a pressure washer that's cranked up to the max.
