Believe it when I see it. Also, how low paying will these "jobs" be and exactly is the "job title"? :???:

A Harley manufacturing plant in India?
So much for the only American made motor cycle.
-
$10 billion in jobs
1/5 of which is already blown on the cost of his trip over there.
BTW - how much did it cost his predecessor to visit troops in the middle of a raging war?

Harley's Indian manufacturing plant is helping them become a force in the massive Indian motorcycle business. The bikes which are popular there, aren't the same as those which are sold here, so they're going to make market fitting models there. Spot on for Harley, for hopping into a growing market with great potential.
Besides, what do you think the boxes tend to say for country of origin when you order replacement parts for a Harley? Made in China :whistling:

Will this save and create shovel ready jobs?
I don't think our economy can take any more saving and creating.

"Win-win" hah? I guess India's winning twice.

More like exporting tens of thousands of jobs. Try contacting Hewlett-Packard tech support. You'll get someone in India who can barely speak English. :banghead: I have an ear for foreign languages but the lady I spoke with was incomprehensable. I had to spell out my last name letter by letter 2 times. My last name is Smith. :thatsright: Smith. Probably the most common name in the western world.

Netgear's tech support is in Mumbai. I've been on the phone with them 4 times in the last month. One call was 2.5 hours..... :bawl:
A couple of the companies that I do property reports for, are also in India. I'm on the phone with them, several times a week.
It's one thing for me to talk to India about something that I'm very familiar with....as I can get the gist of what they are saying, because it's my job.
It's totally different, when I'm trying to understand what they are asking me or telling me to do, with regard to something that I have difficulty understanding when someone with English as a first language explains to me. It is so frustrating ....for them and for me.
I understand about the name thing. They pronounce "Deborah" sometimes ok, others not so ok....but my last name? No where close and it's just not that hard!! :whatever:
