Title: "Earth Hour"

Earth Hour crashes to Earth

Credit the public with sense. Earth Hour, hysterically promoted by The Age, the Sydney Morning Herald, the ABC, SBS, Sky News and the federal and state governments, resulted in no significant fall in power usage.

Much more at the LINKY-DINK (http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/index.php/heraldsun/comments/earth_hour_crashes_to_earth/)

It seems to be the equivalent to lighting a small firecracker only to have it fizzle and go out.  No bang. No flash.  No ooohs and ahhhs.  Awwwwww.   :-)

You might want to flag that as NSFW -- the movin' pitchers that are the avatar and signatures are neat, but dangerous.

I will have to wait until tonight to read it.

What 15-year-old?  All I see is a hot dancing chick on the left and something black on the right.

You should revisit our "dialogues" with TNO; the hockeystick graphs were thoroughly debunked.

Did the little brat finally take his marbles (what there was of them) and go home?

I turned on all my lights so I would be sure to be able to see everyone sitting in the dark.

our silly mayor did this downtown in seattle.. they turned off city park lights and all 'non essential' lights that they could.

I guess I can take down my Christmas lights now. I had to put 'em up again to display my disdain for this stupidity.
