Oh man. This sux. I had the pleasure of watching his magic on a daily basis as the manager of the Detroit Tiger, for which he won the World Series.
I hope and pray they you are at ease and in no pain. RIP Sparky.

I had heard, yesterday, that he was in a hospice.
RIP, Sparky. Make out your lineup card for tomorrow's game with John McGraw's team. (For those that don't know, John McGraw was a manager in the early part of the last centruy.)

I grew up watching and worshipping the Big Red Machine. He was truly a great manager and even greater human being.
